If I'm hearing this right the Spits thought we were friendlies? I did wonder why there was no reaction as we passed overhead. I watched this engagement go down then immediately jumped and shot down a 3rd Spitfire who seemed oblivious.

Yup. I was assured by two pilots that, despite my eyes telling me they were 109s in a tight formation, they were friendly Spits. Hence the change of start of call to go full combat to saunter, which by measure is "make me a big fat target for a 109". The wingman called no hits, so I was oblivious as the 2nd 109 came to chew me up.

@@JonRattlehead Thank you! :) I don’t even know yet. I’m still in the onboarding process with Dadnar. I asked him for a squad which flies on both sides. I hope that will work out. For this campaign it will most likely be one flying the Spitfire.
