Narrin is not a matter of an issue uno...it just shows the inability of the people to provide a basic need..you have children and you cannot afford to buy pampers for your child? It says a lot about the standard of life many Dominicans are living in...I am not saying a parl rep cannot donate pampers or whatever it is...but I feel like a lot of people depend on these things because they cannot provide it for themselves

To me nothing wrong with giving to her people if she didn't that would also be an issue people have baby shower and particularly ask for diapers people will make an issue of anything

I'm the Trini (Soca Boss hat) in question here: Our comment on the growth of Nasty Business (under bouyon) is from a 1 hr episode where we not only made mention of BOUYON music but difference between bouyon and soca music. We also spoke about soca from other countries as well. As a DJ, I also play bouyon music too. Our concern is that we don't want Dominica and the Bouyon genre alone to be defined by nasty business. It's great that the genre is successful BUT it shouldnt be the only success coming outta Dominica.

@Shango-qo6ip18 күн бұрын
I worked as a producer in Trinidad carnival for 12yrs and it's quite hypocritical from some trinis to Dominican music. Garcon they have nothing on bouyon music. It's just all jealousy and that ole tired sayings and calling us small islands. Bouyon 767 taking over so they can't stop the program. Trinidad carnival has the number one nasty business soca so know your history young trini boys

Yes to Bouyon but an absolute NO to Nasty Business being played in public spaces and school buses . Nasty business lyrics are raw and uncrafted with filthy lyrics . No decent government should allow children to be exposed to this music. How can a young teenage boy show respect to his female peers when adults have made it ok to verbally disrespect females in the most disgusting way. Protect your communities and control the playing of Nasty Business music where it can be heard by your children and corrupt them .

Facts bro To be honest with you our bouyon music is not only focus on nasty business people don’t really understand the concept think of it is just like how other artists around the world sing about their guns drugs and so much dirty things and it’s being played so it’s not just thinking of the nasty business the guys invented something that caught the attention of the audience yes they need to compose their songs in a proper manner but if you look at it on the music side I don’t see why it should be a problem majority of the songs have clean and raw versions so is not just look at the bad before the good look at the good to at least our bouyon music Dominica music is being recognized worldwide and we are thankful for that you know how long our big artists like asa bantan and tk and wck been pushing that genre and it’s finally made it let the music vive is just proper composure needed especially to the young artists introduce don’t get me wrong that’s my views

Bouyon has been there for a long time .. The other Caribbean countries has been sampling our beats… Our young Guys are aggressively pushing the Bouyon with more spice… There’s is no party without Bouyon…. Yeah it’s our time now 🇩🇲🇩🇲🇩🇲🇩🇲🇩🇲🇩🇲🇩🇲🇩🇲

They never bash bouyon , just the nasty bizness songs they never say anything about signal band or wck etc . And honestly Trinidad madman is a shock Factor artist. I like slack talk but some nasty bizness songs just a lil to vulgar with no creativity. And he never say bouyon replace power soca he say specifically nasty bizness

@kwamielawrence2953 my comment isn't for or against, just factual observation. The conversation is about 'Carnival music' during Carnival and its non compartmentalized play. The fact of the matter is that "TRINIBAD' isn't 'Carnival Music'. Even our own 'Nasty Business Bouyon' artists agree with parts of their opinion. It's a necessary discussion re time and place.
