What a fantastic kind man who cares about his team and every day people. I remember typing up Minutes of Meetings for Charter Walk Shopping Centre in Burnley in the 90s. What a fantastic heartfelt story. Having been ripped off by my Bank and put in thousands of pounds of debt I feel for working class families. It most certainly is not a level playing field. I have been searching for a KIND BANK 🏦 for years.

Dave is my real life hero. I also know ways to transform banking, but i dont have a prior business to launch from, and honestly, im no businessman. The worlds problems ultimately come down to there not being enough ethical bankers.

Well said. 👍 I know I'm sick of the films with the Mother F swear word. So disrespectful. And the perverts. We should have a choice to delete swearing, S-x etc from films and make them family friendly. I love underdog true stories. And he's a Millionaire with a big heart. And what a great team he has. No way! I didn’t even know they made a Netflix movie! I watched the reality series on KZbin and it was great just because he seemed like such a stand up dude. Will def have to check the movie out. Hard not to root for Dave when he’s taking care of his community and even taking on the larger system almost single-handedly.

I wish I could start a community bank. The irony though is that I'd need to get funding from another financial institution. Dave had the benefit of a successful company and millions of his own money to get the Bank of Dave going. Without a comparable initial balance, I'm not sure if success is feasible.

I’ve watched this movie The Bankof Dave maybe 50 times and it fills up my heart. I think Dave Fishwick is a remarkable human being that is making a remarkable change in communities all over the world. He will be visiting America next April and I pray that his bank model will become the new banking system in this country that has lost millions and millions of small businesses over the last 40 years due to the corporate monopolies.

It's far from amazing. I worked there for a while (short while). They count your steps and time you. They're ruthless and awful employers, But investors won't mind, as long as they're cashing in. It's a sweatshop.
