He organised the murder of his mate, Aaron Sherritt, who was also IRISH. 82% of the police in Victoria were Irish, and he was loathed by the entire police force. @@tonybarde2572 You tell a lot of lies Tony. I say again that police records in Victoria show that 82% of the police in Victoria were or Irish descent. Religion paid almost no part in Victoria. There were minor issues, but when two of the early premiers in Victoria were Irish, it tells you a great deal, doesn't it?

The narrator is clueless saying that one could feel compassion for Ned Kelly. Ridiculous comment when one knows just how low Ned Kelly was in fact. He was a murderer, bank robber, hostage taker, thief, stand over thug, and liar. There is not one shred of evidence that Kelly was harassed by authorities. He was a serious criminal and got his just deserts. The Bendigo Art Gallery promoting this criminal is a disgrace. Who will they promote next, Ivan Milat?

So what did he do for the people Ethan, other than rob from poor Irish settlers, hold people hostage, rob banks who were holding poor Irish settlers money, and threaten those he stole from that if they went to the police he would come back and do more damage to them, like burn down their haystacks or houses. Ned Kelly was one of the worst criminals to ever live in Victoria. Your comment is very uneducated.
