Its easy to think that conors confidence helps him win the fights. But here and vs khabib etc he looks underconfident or compensating. But maybe his confidence is just directly a reflection of the assessment he makes of his skills vs his opponent and it happens to be very accurate. So when he is really confident its because he is actually skillwise far better than his opponents and it ends up showing vs when he looks underconfident is just because hes not as good and he knows it and os trying his best to act like he can win or not show that to anyone else. So end of the day...its his confidence from his skills which came from his hard work and passion (love).
