man your videos are great, I couldnt find any vid explaining spoiler aero blocking situation. I'd love a video on wheels, which wheels are best for what purpose (are the racing wheels worth using for really anything? lol). Plus great cars, would love to see more of your builds

One big thing NOT mentioned is the downforce generated by slanted blocks. And how speed affects the aero. Good science so far thiugh.

Nice cars, bit of advice. You should have saved the dragon engine for last, people will stick around more for the super powerful car

You can use gimbals on negative thrust for insane downforce aswell as using upside down flap wings for the active aero

damn, 800h on this game and i never noticed how the spoilers actually work, feeling dumb rn i guess i just never really used them if not for aestethics

I have always wondered how the active aero worked compared to base spoilers, especially since the motorhead update. fantastic work on the research.

Great vid, very technical, but I'm not sure about calculations at 5:41. You didn't count the downforce from wedge block and I think those produce downforce as well. Would be cool to see more experiments on that.

The best thing about active aero parts is that they are, well... ACTIVE. You can fine tune the vehicle for any situation using logic or manual inputs of all kinds (hello accumulators), making the conventional aero parts obsolete (not in terms of looks, I must say). You can also use wedge parts to generate downforce/lift in strategic spots, to the point you don't even need actual aero parts. My best planes don't have any wing parts whatsoever, making them look much better and still perform on a great level of realism/usability.

When making my performance cars with active aero using the flaps I run in to a bug were when going 250 mph a shaking starts and it gets so bad a 300 mph it just explodes Edit: the other wings don’t produce the amount of downforce as the flaps
