These represent a culmination of innovation in terms of accessories, propulsion and electrics. There's a lot of wow here. We're looking for the next leap in innovation, but that might be some years away. Maybe Yamaha and Sea-Doo will have electric PWCs soon.

Thank you for sharing the video. I'm about to buy an AIR. But I do not know which one shall I choose: AIR ior AIR PRO I'm 170 cm tall and has 80kg. My kids (40-50kg) would use as well. I'm not totally beginner cause tried a TAKUMA few times and was able to foil in 10 min. I'm afraid if I choose AIR I'll regret in the first season. (I would use on a lake only, not on the sea/ocean). Thanks for the advise, Zoltan
@boatsailmag27 күн бұрын
The difference between the two might not be so dramatic for you. You can change up the wings for a more pro experience on the AIR without sacrificing the added start up advantage. The 5'2'' AIR PRO will end up more appropriate for you as you go beyond intermediate (80kg and 80L means you can almost remain afloat when standing up on it. The AIR has 110 liters by comparison. Understand the dilemma, but you likely won't be too disappointed with the 5'8 AIR no matter what.

It's there, but it's more of a symbolic barrier that only provides some visual privacy. For a boat this size, it's not a luxury to expect. It's worth pointing out for those who'll have guests staying over. But this is still a daycruiser.

I've seen quite a lot of Seadoos crack their hulls. Mostly poly hull models, but recently saw a fiberglass hull crack under hard turning, like it was made of paper. I think their going too much power & not enough strength. I've also seen them sink from leaks in the rear access hatches, which is a terrible set up.

Fire risk? Asking for a friend. (My friend isnt allowed to bring his electric scooter on Public Transport anymore due to fire risk).
@boatsailmag2 ай бұрын
There are so many different scooters out there, not all of them quality products. The batteries on scooters are also subject to getting dinged , which can cause cheaper ones to heat up. The redundancies on the Sialia system are many and the sensors are, so it was explained to us, very alert to issues.

250 miles at what speed? and what is the battery recharge time? and what electrical service is required to charge?
@boatsailmag2 ай бұрын
16 knots cruising speed. In-depth review on the way. This is a parallel hybrid system. It can run 100% electric, but the diesel can function as a backup and charge lithiums to 80% in 30-45 mins of running. Otherwise, fast chargers can get similar results.

what a ripoff.
@boatsailmag4 ай бұрын
@Unfluencer Don't know bout that. Electric powered vehicles are more expensive (thinking about Jetsurfs) and there's as much battery tech involved here as, say, a Taiga PWC (which costs considerably more). There's also a reason why you don't see Alibaba knock-offs of this board anywhere. Much of this board is made in Germany, too, by the way. Expensive? Agreed. Ripoff? Not by yachting standards.
