is an increase from 2- 2.5 not the same as an increase from 2.5 - 3 both are an increase of 0.5
@LuveducationАй бұрын
That's what I thought too! I'm so confused 😭
@LuveducationАй бұрын
Okay I think I understand what is happening now, because the question asks about "greatest percentage increase" and not about the greatest difference, the percentage increase between 2 and 2.5 is 0.25 (as 2.5 minus 2 = 0.5 and then 0.5÷2 = 0.25) and the percentage increase between 2.5 and 3 is 0.2 (as 3 minus 2.5 = 0.5 and then 0.5÷2.5 = 0.2, you don't need to calculate it, you can just see that 0.5÷2 is gonna be more than 0.5÷2.5) therefore the greatest percentage increase is between 2 and 2.5. I hope this helps

For Q6, instead of counting backwards, the shift parameter can be reversed, as in J to X instead of X to J, there are 14 shifts, so just count 14 from E to get S. :)

Why in 9:51 cold drinks are 12 if it should be 6(18÷1/3
@user-up6tm1ox1b29 күн бұрын
6 is a third of 18, it says a third fewer meaning you need to do 18 - 6 which is 12

Hiii, I am doing maths,fm,economics, business studies a-level Wanna do something related to economics or maths in future But my main focus is to get a high paying job And i feel like engineering provides more job opportunities Thats why i took physics a-level earlier but i hate physics. Its just not my subject. So i changed it to business So my question is would the subjects i chose provide me a high paying job??

Really helpful video and the new website is great! On Q8: how can you assume that the time 15:36 is in fact correct? You assume that the digit 6 is correct to infer that it should be followed by a 7 and 8. Since we know that something is wrong with the last digit I don't understand how you can make such an assumption.

Hi! Thank you for the greatly beneficial and informative video. I’m currently in Year 10 but considering my A-Levels, I’m thinking of pursing a career in either medicine or environmental engineering. I’m taking Arabic second language, geography and ICT yet have a great passion for history and comparative religion. I chose ICT as I thought it could be applied into any field since majority of careers require knowledge on using electronics effectively (as if knowledge). Moreover, I plan on taking maths and sciences as well as geography for those 2 career choices I previously said, do you think those are good options? Have a great day, and never stop learning.

Hi I need your advice I'm taking CS,PHYSICS AND MATHS Cuz I'm interested in a number of fields,but I'm not so sure about taking them as long term sustainable and reliable careers... So I concluded that the fields I'm currently most interested about,are Engineering, Something computer related, Or just something mathematical or logical or technical in general, So I thought CS, PHYSICS AND MATHS (I'm also planning to add a soft subject particularly a language subject,I think maybe english or Urdu,since Urdu is my native language,also advice me on which of these 2 languages would be best to select..)would be the best combo in A levels, I have had physics and maths before in IGCSE,but I'm doing CS for the first time... So I'm currently having troubles understanding computer science,and the COURSE IS SO HARDDD.....even for my classmates who did CS in IGCSE!!! My computer teacher said Maybe I should not take COMPUTER science in A levels and can still take computer science as a degree course in the future, She said if I'm planning to do bachelor's in computer science,then I don't necessarily need to do computer science in a levels, she said I should go for physics and maths and some third other subject other than computer science IF I THINK I WON'T GET GOOD GRADES IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, I mean it's honestly better to have good grades in soft subjects rather than bad grades in the hard subjects... She said I can still pursue computer science in bachelor's with only physics and maths(and a third sub) in a levels, she said because in bachelor's they'll teach me computer science FROM scratch...(I live in Pakistan btw) So....I just wanted to ask, If I don't take cs in a levels,just physics and maths with a third subject(which might be a soft subject I'm not sure yet) I can still further study CS like in bachelor's and onwards.. cuz 'theyll teach me from scratch' But I'm just worried,what if the unis require a CS subject in a levels to get that bachelor's CS degree or any other CS degree?? Please help me out(also advice on what should I take as my 3rd subject if I ended up leaving Computer science, plus advice on which language sub would be most beneficial...) thx
