I love this so much, I wish I could forget it just so I could watch you all over again, thank you Erik. However at roughly 3:11 the statement "coriolis effects may appear stronger at the upper levels of the deck" is made, how can this be the case? Buy upper levels you mean levels closer to the centre of rotation which would have weaker artificial gravity and coriolis effects right? ANYONE PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM INACCURATE, To my knowledge stronger coriolis effects should be present at lower levels of the deck due to lower levels having a greater distance from the centre of rotation and higher linear velocity right?

This three minute and fifty second short film is more masterful and evocative than almost all of the major, and not so major movies that are current and have come before. A truly stunning piece of work. I know who I am calling when I make my sci-fi movie!

Fantastic pacing and the overall sense of rhythm is perfect! I bet it's easy for any one of us to imagine being that older person experiencing all of that cosmic wonder.

I seen this 9 years ago, with Space X advancements this film makes more sense.

Unfortunately spacex hasn't achieved much more than was done in the 60s.
My question is, why does anyone think that the Andromeda galaxy cannot have life similar to ours in the Milky Way, aren't there planets and stars there?

I still remember when this came out and even rewatching it today after not doing so in several years, I'm still choked up with emotion of excitement and longing for this day and beyond. Erik and Christian you have made a wonder that we can only dream of now and I hope to see the start of before my end.

The ending (5:13), the music, all of it makes the entire space station seem like a giant sarcophagus. The last will and testament of an extraordinarily wealthy man as he drifts past Neptune (the last major planet) and finally swtiches off the lights. Maybe it is or maybe its just a moment, ALONE...
