Red Devil City is based on Seoul, South Korea. Neo Yokohama is based on Yokohama, Japan. San Juan is based on Monaco Grand Prix. But what is San Christobal based on? I have been trying to find out for years.

What’s cool about this game is that once you and Another player really master the handling on this game. You can drift almost randomly on this game

Dunno if you can understand english, but yeah, it has been criticized for bad handling and some wacky physics, though it kept boasting about it's damage system, which was a feature missing from Gran Turismo at that time.

Honestly if drifting worked it would already be pretty good, at least in arcade mode. Grand prix would need some work
