We tried the chili crab at a buffet possibly at Ritz Carlton. I am not wealthy my wife is Singaporean and got a discount somehow. We think the chili crab was overhyped and not that good. First the sauce was too sweet and you couldn't taste the crab really and it was super messy. We were disappointed in the buffet at the Ritz Carlton it was not that great. There are so many videos showing the same hawker center food and same dishes to eat. Those food recommendations can be good but many people will feel like it requires an acquired taste the first time you try some of the recommended food. The first time as a white American I was not sure how I felt about some of the food. Some things were fishy tasting or I wasn't used to the taste. Most of the same hawker dishes tasted very good after trying them a second or third time it was like I needed to acclimate to them first. The good news is that there are so many other places to eat . After multiple trips to Singapore we found some good food at hawker centers. We found ourselves eating mostly at various businesses I am not talking chain/ fine dining just places that are there own restaurant. There are many places that sell AMAZING FOOD. We easily found most of the food that was not mentioned in many videos was far better and my wife being a Singaporean real deal foodie brought me to places that sold amazing laksa and other dishes compared to hawker centers. I do love the hawker centers but once I became familiar with Singapore we spent the bulk of our time eating at small shops. Thanks for sharing this video even though it did not show how amazing Singapore's airport is it's really unbelievable. Best wishes !

Actually the Pokemon center mascot for Singapore was Lapras and Celebi, Lapras due to the country is an world major marine port transport and Celebi due to Singapore is a garden city. The Gyarados was not the mascot rather it resemble the Merlion Singapore official mascot and symbol, you can see how the Gyarados is standing straight and spliting water from the mouth downward just like the Merlion
