Bucks Fizz were never given the credit they deserved. They're produced some fantastic songs. I think there record company's got it wrong when deciding which songs to use as singles. Rules of the game, London Town, Golden Days are good songs, but I think some album tracks were better. ❤️😊

The problem for me here is that if the singer has a certain genre of music that suits them and none of the judges warm to that then the singer really doesn't stand a chance!

The looks on the judges' faces when Jay revealed who she was

Champagne and OJ, eh, Tom? 32 years must rot the memory over there. Had to be tough for Jay, who's had a modest amount of success on her own and has reunited with Cheryl Baker and Mike Nolan, along with former Sweet Dreams' Bobby McVay as a "new Fizz", back recording and touring in the UK. Didn't think much of the song she had to sing, either.

She was one sexy, gorgeous woman at the height of Fizz's fame. She's aged very well.

why is jay putting herself thru this ? she is still gorgeous and has nothing to prove to anyone and I doubt that she is skint or needs to boost her profile in any way , she puts all these other dreamers to shame !!!!!

I really enjoyed Jay Aston.

Wow she has aged well..but she hasnt got a lead voice..she has a backing vocals alto voice..Bucks Fizz in the day wernt known for their great vocals..they just had a pop package that sold records..a little bit like nowadays in fact..ah well nothing changes..fair balls for going on this though..even if it was to get some publicity..

I didn't know Jay Aston was paralysed down one side!!! I saw her at the Bandstand last month. Just before she went on stage and she called to me, commenting on my 7" platform boots (they all did.) She seems alright and she is still sexy and in great shape- they all are!!! I was conceived the year they won Eurovision and she is in better shape than me.

Jay sings great and looks AMAZING! She will always be a star to me.

Folks, pop is not a dirty word. Cheryl Baker is lovely (so is Jay), and as someone from the other side of the pond who didn't learn about Bucks Fizz till just recently, their stuff is quite good, especially the later recordings. "Now Those Days are Gone" is one of the best records I've ever heard.

It's probably me getting old but Tom Jones and Jay Aston I recognise. Danny Foster I have heard of. So who are the other three judges passing comment on these two seasoned performers then? What exactly have they done to earn their keep because I couldn't name or recognise one of them!

Why's Jay talking as if no one has a clue who she is? Maybe Cheryl is the more recognised member, but Bucks Fizz were one of the biggest acts of the '80s. When We Were Young is amazing. She's got a new single Great Expectations out soon, which she sung live on (Formerly of, yawn) Bucks Fizz's Paradise Regained tour last year, from a Marilyn Monroe themed project, I gather.

sometimes you need to accept that there are things that should never be done and going back is one of them, Jay Aston should never have done this....the stupid comments of the judges shows their ignorance of pure pop and Tom Jones should not be part of this judgemental cruel nonsense

Buck Fizz well the only thing i liked about bucks fizz was Jay Aston, i thought she was one sexy woman but as a live singer i have to but my heart to one side and be brutal with the truth, there was nothing special about here voice and i feel unless you got that special something vocally its not going to happen. I feel it must be a big come down to go on the VOICE and get turned down, it cant do your ego any good specially when you used to ride the charts at number one. i feel it was a gamble not worth making going on this show.

The great Tom Jones exhibited a great lack of taste by making a tired joke about liking the soda pop sharing the same name as the group Bucks Fizz. Not being chosen was bad enough without Jones' presentation of bad form.

Bucks Fizz we're one of the biggest selling groups of the 80s in the UK, how sad the clearly when they turned around, none of them knew who she was, despite looking exactly the same now as she did then..........shame on them, that's all I can say......fan or not, to not know who she is says a lot about them....

I think that was a really bad song choice for Danny and Jay needed to blow me away with her voice on that song and she just didn't. I wonder if that's how she used to sing back in her Bucks Fizz days? Maybe it was poor song choice for her too

This was not Jay's choice of song, which is why she said 'I'm not a rock artist' after the judges comments. She wanted to sing Emily Sande's Clown.

I so wanted Jay to go through but the choice of song was totally wrong. Don't know what she was thinking! Very controversial choice for Danny that just didn't pay off!
