Hey did you fix the problem with the board, because I installed one and its doing the same thing, it works well but it does turn on and off like you said if did you fix the problem?

yes.. keep in mind that this board only accepts "some" core 2 dual and quad core.. You're symptom is because you are using an incompatible processor. Is your processor pentium D? These boards can accept most processor consuming 65W. For a list of complete acceptable cpu, google intel dq45ek processor and you'll see. I hope this helps.

I just got this board last week and it did the same thing. Both MB lights came on (green power LED and the red AMT LET). It wouldn't even post .Turned out to be an incompatible processor.

might be the power button thats stuck or the power supply thats busted if not then its the mother board i know cuz i fixed a problem like this last week
