I had the same problem with my Jazz, and WD40 worked perfectly. Well, one more problem, not only the handle got stuck, but the lock too. I can see you have a bigger inspection door in the panel, in my 2006 Jazz it is just a small hole, maybe 3cm in diameter. The problem was a plastic separator did not go deep enough in "unlock mode" to activate/push the unlocker/hook. I wish such mechanisms were eternal. The same problem with back handle in Pajero, jeez ...

I have a Nissan Versa, which should be an American version of Nissan Note. I have the same problem. The lock looks the same, just the screws are different. I just couldn't find any pin or actually see it. Maybe it's different from Note. I'll try again with a better light when I find the time. Luckily, the door locks, it's just the noise that's out of the order.
@sutsi8 күн бұрын
Yes the mechanism works...but that little pin just sticks out a little hence that annoying noise

Cheers! This was just the utube I needed. I would have taken a long time and probably done quite a bit of damage before figuring out how to remove the door trim to get at the screws. Some of the other utubes don't even show that, which usually turns out to be the hardest bit of the job. I bought a complete replacement mirror unit with heater and movement motor for £58 on line and it was delivered the next day. Took a chance on the quality, but it turned out to be very good. Search the internet carefully because the same unit can cost twice as much. Also to say that I bought a set of trim removing tools for £8 and they proved to be just the ticket for removing car trim and panels. Much better than a screwdriver or knife. Should have done it years ago!! Rock on!! ************** Post script Just read the reviews below and found I could get the mirror unit a bit cheaper -- Dohh!

This was a really useful tutorial. The horn would intermittently work and only if pressing the lower section of the horn. I used a file to clean up the metal contact points inside the steering wheel. Have an N-Tec 1.6 auto in identical colour, mine for last 11 years. Brilliant car, roomy, comfortable and never missed a beat. Ideal for town and long-distance driving. Just run up 60k and only had to replace battery, brake pads, tyres and a front spring. Not only did the car look familiar, the test drive along Enfield Highway was right where we lived when down south!
