It's still unclear what happened to a 63-year-old Mazda 2 driver who landed in the Atlanta car park uncontrollably and speedily penetrated the protective fence and landed on the roof of the chiropractic clinic. To make the matter better, his adventure did not end there, but he later landed on the roof of the chiropractic clinic roof right in front of the car wash.

It happened at 1050 West Marietta St. NW, Atlanta GA (goo.gl/maps/Usprofg335Q2) There's a street that dips down perpendicular to the direction the Mazda was moving, that explains how the car can be seen tumbling down from what appears to be ground level.

Google Street View: goo.gl/maps/rjPcvTAT41K2 camera 1 is in the top left corner of the brick facade in the centre. Camera 2 is in the sunken alleyway at the top right of the open door. In between is a now demolished fence with white signs about parking.

from the net explanation The wreck seems to have happened when the driver, 63-year old Stanley Clarke, allegedly got his foot trapped between the gas and brake pedals, causing the car to accelerate uncontrollably. The speeding Mazda whipped through a parking lot off Marietta Street in Northwest Atlanta, as you can see in the first part of the video clip, and crashed onto the roof of a nearby chiropractor’s office. Then, the car tumbles off the roof and lands, heavily, on its own roof. In a way, it’s fortunate the car landed upside down, as you can still see the front wheels spinning, suggesting they were still under power. Incredibly, Clarke only suffered mild injuries. I know it’s hard to think rationally under circumstances like these, but it’s worth remembering if you’re ever in such a situation that you can always turn off the ignition.

Or put the car in neutral; if you turn off the ignition completely the steering lock will engage.
