Matt has done some work in musical theatre on the West End (Memphis, Strictly Ballroom, Jesus Christ Superstar; these roles appear in this video, starting just before 3 minutes). However, his main focus remains creating his own music - and in fact, he's just released a new single called Purple Crayon, with an EP due out in March!

@@kathleenmorris9309 Not sure how familiar you are with Matt's albums, but a number of his songs would be considered soulful, such as All For Nothing, Hallelujah and Porcelain - Matt's definitely got eclectic taste, though, and can pretty much sing anything :)

I do hope he never loses his weird sense of humor!!! I loved seeing him muck about with the 1D boys and Aiden and his friends on various videos. A wicked sense of humor can get you through huge piles of manure, and there must be tons of that in his business.
