if that driver is an experienced HGV driver he should know the total of height of his vehicle, if I was the transport manager of his depot I would sack him straight away then take him to court for damaging company property, due to neglect, then whoever owns the bridge claim from him for repairs to the bridge, that is pure carelessness, and his licence taken away. I was an HGV driver for just under twenty years, and if that happened with any of their vehicles, my boss you would have had your cards ready as soon as you got back to the depot

We don't want to give up our cars, vans or trucks. We don't all work in offices in towns or cities. We don't all believe in getting rid of vehicles to appease "pressure groups". We don't all have a job that doesn't need a car, van or truck to earn a living. We don't all have jobs for employers, some of us work for ourselves. We don't all believe the "climate crisis" crap! We don't all want to be governed by globalists. We don't all want dicatators in councils anymore. We don't all want rid of "fossil fuels". I don’t call my sefe by any means intelligent how ever think about this no science needed ! Take one gallon of petrol or diesel ( gas coal oil to generate electricity ) put the fuel in your car ! With the windows and doors closed put your hand on the exhaust manifold ! start your Ice engine and in 5 minutes put your hand back on the exhaust if you can’t get your man servant( Farage has one ) to hold it on the exhaust ! Every 5 mins phone the wife to tell her how you are feeling I don’t think you will see the fuel used up ! The heat emitted can never be placed back in the fuel can and the poison is free just some of it is locked up in your dead body ! What complete and utter nonsense about wind power ! No one Scotland produces 2/3 surplus to what it needs almost every day however turbines are turned off why ? Because the National grid can’t cope with what’s produced ! They are also turned off in off peak times ! The wid turbines should be producing hydrogen off peak or used in hill generators ! A gas boiler can be converted to run on hydrogen for just over £100 no need for a new boiler ! Again lack of investment like the nat grid !

Labour do not deserve a majoriy of this size nor do Tories deserve to win (nor will they). Therfore vote Reform in the 9 seats they can win and then everywhere else vote to stop Labour by voting Tory or even Lib Dem if it stops Labour getting a huge majority. 🇬🇧. Seats where Tories should vote Reform: Clacton Ashfield Barnsley North & South Easington Hartlepool Kingston Upon Hull East Normanton and Hemsworth Rotherham South Shields Boston and Skegness Everywhere else vote to stop Labour.

Wealth tax? After someone has worked hard, taken risks with their money, grown a business, done very well through their own determination, hard work and effort AND paid all the taxes on everything that they've earned and acquired, you want to tax it all again and take it from them? What on Earth do you think that will do to the motivation of entrepreneurs, who start and grow businesses, create jobs, employ people and grow the economy? I suspect you have never started, or grown a business, or employed anyone in your life. You are promoting socialism, whose fundamental principle is: put it all together and share it all out and when you've spent yours and I've saved mine, share it all out again. I suggest you move to Venezuela, or Cuba, live in a socialist society for a while and then have a think about your ideas again.

Here is a question or analogy about coal. When I was a boy, steam trains were the norm, slowly replaced by electric and diesel. Why? What was the impetus to stop using coal and focus on electric? It was progress, driven by money. The engineering solutions were supported by value to the government budget. I lived on the back of Horsey Station next to the steam train maintenance sheds. So I saw first-hand sulphurous smog (London smog) from trains. The reason for change has become a religion and not engineering excellence, striving for clean air. If solar panels were not a political football, or wind turbines not used as a political solve all, the science and engineering would solve all the problems producing clean energy. It goes tits up when politicians get involved. Those claiming it is science-driven, don't realise what they have to do to get funding. Only one side gets the lion share of funding.

Why are people so blind to the destruction and traitorous behaviour of both conservative and labour agends. Excess deaths debate in parliament, boycotted by all parties. MP's pay debate, parliament full to overflowing. Lord Pearson of Rannock, 8 years ago asked the house,"when can we talk about islam" he was booed and jeered. I have paid in to the system for over 50 years, employed dozens of people and created an enormous amount of VAT for the government. My business was locked down, I lost my home, my business, my savings and my future and now I have to live in a van because there is 2130 people on the housing list. Immigrants/refugees/economic migrants we do not need, get housed the minute they step foot on the shore. At least Reform are challenging to common destructive agenda.
