@@rynolin342 rats ….I was hoping maybe it was a dirty , moldy blower motor . I always have a cabin filter and change it every 12-15 thousand miles and also the engine air filter . I sneeze terribly and my nose runs regardless.

2 of the 3 screws are super difficult to get to. How did you get in there? I didn't open up the whole cabin area, just dropped the glove box - like you recommended. You were right, getting to the blower was really easy - no tools. I will attempt again. After watching through your video, I appreciate you sharing this information and process. You are a life saver!!

I'm not sure what screws you're referring to specifically but I'm assuming you're talking about the ones around the blower motor. I had to use a variety of different screw drivers some with short handles. It was tough to not strip them but I managed while on my back with my head under there. You can even try a socket if you have the right size. Glad my video was helpful for you! I wasted an entire weekend on this project.

I'm assuming you're referring to the lift stopping right after we got on. This lift definitely has some issue that need to be sorted out. All season it's been having lots of stoppages especially with the big crowds. I think it mostly has to do with the timing gates. Hopefully they make a change.

@@rynolin342 the equipment is the best Doppelmayr has to offer right now. The "new lift gremlins " will get worked out I'm sure. I only make my snide comment because it's avoidable to work this stuff out before opening and that time was wasn't taken in favor of opening asap. I get it. Beautiful new lift needs to move meat uphill now! Tickets to sell, money to be made! That's my issue with it. The maintenance crew is probably killing themselves to get through it and the third floor just wants the thing moving.

@@crakilldurmom I agree with your points. I think some of the issues couldn't have been predicted no matter how much testing they did. They ran it every day for over two weeks before opening day so I think they felt like they had checked for everything they could. The tech is impressive and I want to see it work. They just need to identify the primary causes of it stopping because the thing can't run for 5 minutes without stopping on a medium busy day.

@@rynolin342 I hear it's the spacing system. The parameters in the cpu are set to tight tolerance and they, we'd to be a little less tight because the slightest variations are stopping the lift

U took it all apart to get out acorns u realize it’s easier just to use phone camera look down in to it suck it out with a vaccume hose attachment bend it up and Over suck it all Out use camera Again. To look down on in it make sure you got it all out way easier I actually used a camera that attaches to phone it’s on a cable like a small thin snake. It’s a snake camera. Endoscope I used it and some sticky tape me vaccume cleaned it out pretty good and didn’t take apart anything but pulled out the filter ect.

Same with my girlfriend's '18 Elantra. Blower settings #1 & #2 blow the same strength. Can't feel air from like 4 inches from vent & beyond. Setting #3 blows a little harder, to where you can actually feel a little air hitting your face/chest. Setting #4 blows pretty good, I guess. Cabin air filter is regularly cleaned/blown out with an air compressor & replaced every 6 months or so.
