With this type of gardening you will have benificial bugs and fewer of the undesirable one .

I wish the local/ regional garden shops and the county ag extensions agents would watch this and stop promoting invasive species like popular ,privet ,maples , fruitless pear ,etc.

How can I tell whether the lantana in my yard (from a previous owner) is the native or the invasive variety?

1:25 Actually, there's a good chance that's actually Liatris punctata var. mucronata, not Liatris mucronata. garden.org/plants/photo/544426/ Plant apps are great starting points, but still need final verification...

Love this!!! This helps me tremendously on how to plant my front yard. I'm in Tarrant county so I think this is my region.

South Texas goes much deeper than what's reported on this video. South Texas reaches the border with Mexico. There many native plants that American Native lived off the native plants. The Spanish took notice and recorded of the aboundence of native plants and native animals.
