I wish the local/ regional garden shops and the county ag extensions agents would watch this and stop promoting invasive species like popular ,privet ,maples , fruitless pear ,etc.

How can I tell whether the lantana in my yard (from a previous owner) is the native or the invasive variety?

I have at least 4 on our 3ish acres in Kerrville. I was so excited to discover them!

South Texas goes much deeper than what's reported on this video. South Texas reaches the border with Mexico. There many native plants that American Native lived off the native plants. The Spanish took notice and recorded of the aboundence of native plants and native animals.
