@@markfarnsworth3306 This bird is a 98 carbureted. All it has is some old D&D slip ons and timing advanced +4 degrees. Right around 60,000 miles.

@@markfarnsworth3306 If you take it and get it tuned they should be able to advance timing. They also made aftermarket ignition modules for the fi bird back in the day. But just like the power commanders they are hard to find now.

Nice wheelie yo!! What gear was you in when you did a clutch up? Just curious. I have a 03, Blackbird and I try to clutch it up in second gear but it comes up to fast don’t know why unless I’m just giving it to much gas, my sprocket set up is 16/45, I’m going back to stock 17/45 bcuz i ride the interstate to work a lot

@@markfarnsworth3306 this one is a 98 carb bird. The 99 and up fuel injected birds have more clutch springs and bite a little harder when you clutch wheelie them. Instead of clutch dump, in second gear, try rolling into the power, when you feel the peak torque starting to come in around 7k snap out of the throttle and back in quickly while gently pulling on the bars. It's an easier rise on the front end and not as aggressive as clutching up. Also keep that rear brake covered and ready to save you if needed

You look comfortable.. I wear leathers or nothing.. but always a helmet.. Your armour will work but it should be tighter.. If you trust yourself enough.. A helmet is enough.. The loose gear to me looks like it may be more problematic than no gear at all.. But always a helmet.. Unless your religiously exempt! 😂❤ Great video and great ride! 4 wheels can move a body.. 2 wheel will move the soul!

Also snap out and snap back into the throttle right before releasing clutch. The front suspension will bounce the front up taking some load off the clutches
