If you have a spare channel on your transmitter? you should go ahead and plug that yellow wire off the throttle lead and put it on the top pin on your reciever and then assign it to a switch your the least likely to bump while flying. Then you,ll have Thrust Reverse and can put the air brakes on before you vear off the runway or run out of runway? Plust it a big plus when that jet has such a lame turning radius you can back it up and get it lined up to the center of the runway easly

Why do you need a reverse . It's a slow flying aircraft... I run jets that are super fast and you just got to know how to come in and land properly I don't ever use that reverse on anything.... I guess this to help some people who can't judge their landing distance..

I had this idea also. Looked good at first until I started using them. The runway tends to side load the tire and the rubber starts to push inward and rub the strut. This, of course, causes friction that turns the plane. It's because the stock hubs are a little too big i think. Unfortunately because of the bearing set. I can not put a shim behind the wheel to move it away from the strut. So i'm looking at maybe making a shim for inside the wheel to help support the tire from the inside. Maybe just a plastic disk or 3D printed one. Either way, just swapping the tire made a big difference in not bouncing. But now it won't go straight most the time unless i figit with the tires. But after just a couple touch and goes or sometimes just the take off. Often the tires start rubbing which turns the plane on landing if you keep the tail flying to long.

I think it needed a bit of right aileron trim. The one landing we saw looked too high and fast. I stand 1/4th of the way down the runway from the approach end and try to touch down in front of where I'm standing. Standing near the other end of the runway doesn't give me a good view. When it's coming almost straight at you, it's hard to judge the speed. However, I use the elevator to maintain a slightly nose-high angle of attack and use the throttle to control the descent rate. I don't think about the speed that much.

This is a good solid helicopter. It also has an auto upside down that you can use to practice upside down flight. But I just like scale flight. I like the cap at the bottom that pops if the blades strike something. It help keeps things from getting damaged. i think it comes with one extra. I only ever needed to replace it once when I dumbly flew it into a small tree in my backyard. New cap and she was fine again. She doesn't mind the wind at all.

What's best for reapplying decals that have come off and flapping around?
@LoveRC
@LoveRC 2 ай бұрын
Take a rag with some rubbing alcohol and wipe the area under the decal. Let it dry. Do not use paper towels. You might want to use some kind of Tacky Glue or try to reactivate the glue on the decal with some heat. Put a little glue on the decal edges and reapply. You can put a clear coat on to protect the plane and decals. You can also go to callie-graphics.com/ and get some better decals.
