That's amazing with 3 strings. Beautiful. I find it difficult with only 3 strings. There seems to be just a little more music with at least 4. Where are you getting all these beautiful songs? Do you write them? Are they old songs? Are they country standards?

Somehow, when I hear banjo music, my mind always goes back to the movie Deliverance. Only nowadays, I don't get creeped out. Hat's off to anyone who can play one.

The cheap, ragged banjo and the funny player in Deliverance are definately not what you actually hear. That is the banjo of the pro mr. Eric Weissberg, playing an expensive, modern 5-string bluegrass banjo.

Nice. I’m left handed but play right handed. Don’t think I could play a left handed banjo! Nice sound!

I just had an interesting idea for a similar instrument: take this instrument, but have the three strings much closer together, so that it is one-course like a canjo. It would be played the exact same way as a one-string canjo, just instead of one string in one course, it would be 3 strings in one course, so it would give more depth then a canjo. It would also be easier to play since you could use the pad of your finger to fret all 3 strings rather than the whole side of your finger.

Have you ever considered making a handgun case violin? small cases like handgun cases already have a divet in the side, you just gotta remove the handle.
