I'm really enjoying having it. I tried it a few years ago and didn't find a use for it as a hunter. But I recently forced myself to use one for a month or so and it is really capable for such a large knife. I've been regularly bringing it with me hunting lately. It's especially nice at cutting branches back when I set up trail cameras.

I am a knife guy really like the knoweldge of the damage knives can inflict guns are a effortless noisy way of killing or inflicting such a deliberate man made idol but to have a knive isnt relying on it it really does take knowledge and ability to kill some one with a knife i mean facing a attacker that has a gun but holding a super sharp knife the guy with the gun has no idea how out ammoed he actually is and that me holding a knife can cause much more serious damage

@@JohnLocke1776 don't go broke over knives mate 🤣😂 I'm in a relatively isolated part of Australia and I'm a Farmer. Nothing changed for me. The only bad side I couldn't fly overseas on a trip we booked.

Glad you and your family are doing well, we watched the chaos on our TV from down there and couldn't believe what went on in the big cities, how are Aussie friends were treated 🤬. My wife and I didn't want the 💉 lost our jobs as a result and left Los Angeles where we lived but have since moved 2 hours outside the City to the suburbs/country, is where we now live. The whole plandemic and system crashing is what got me into survival knives-field craft, get the feeling they'll come in handy with an uncertain future. Great channel 💪😎🙏 🔪 🔫

I have several esee knives. Wanted to love this candiru but returned it. Half inch longer blade and a much thinner kidex sheath and it could have been perfect. I really dislike esee sheaths but overall they make great blades.

At least you gave it a go and found out for yourself 👍🏻👍🏻. Being left handed myself, and seeing ESEE sheaths were able to be swapped over to the left, is the reason I went with ESEE originally. We are all different and have different needs I guess

Well to be honest I just learned something, I only have older 111mm knives and they have the sewing eye... Also for the life of me I can't find my work champ. But I have a couple other models to help with my video. I'm just filming now so give me an hour or two and I'll post a video

The main blade is lockable. It's advertised having a lockable main blade. When I get home mate I'll make a quick video of the two knives in question and post it for you. I'll tag you in it.

I really like the look of them but unfortunately living in a relatively isolated part of Australia, new knives take a while to get here. For some.reason the American sellers charge a huge amount for postage or refuse to send internationally. I will buy one eventually for sure 😀

I guess it's where I live, semi desert, I don't have any trouble with rust. Tree sap, onions and blood all stain the blade but it's not a problem
