Memories of the early to mid 90s when I was young and up very late The darkness would be almost absolute except for the Moon shining like a ghostly beacon through the slits of my window blinds illuminating the contours of my bed in horizontal shades of light and dark I felt as though I were the only person in the entire world still awake to experience the mysterious beauty of the night like it were an unknown world just waiting to be explored The streets ourside would be bereft of life with only thick swirls of mist forming beneath the dark orange whirlpool glow of the myriad streetlights I breathed in great lungfuls of chilled gloomy air and contemplated the meaning of creation as the night embraced me in its welcoming arms

It is the twenty-third year of this fine decade, to which great innovation is expected, and although the economy certainly did not reach a permanently high plateau like we expected last time, we have definitely seen it flying all over the place. Being the twenty-third comment of this section as well, I only feel obligated to write about how we can expect the rest of the Uproaring Twenties. Sure, we have had an outbreak of sorts that had definitely set us back, but this year was without a doubt a testament to the perseverance and determination of the human race, and a stubbornness and utter unwillingness to let something as relatively mundane and short-lived as a new virus ruin our plans for a decade of technological prosperity. Then we have had the "black lives matter" over the mere accidental death of a convicted criminal on the loose, and the two wars between a superpower and an underdog each, but those were even more insignificant to us folks who were just all too happy to see the Hyperloop finally start to transition from the computer screen to the physical plane, amongst other greats such as the SkyTram, the successor to the iconic SkyTrain, and such a noble flying car indeed to take the skies by storm as the one soaring above all others long before today: the Jetson One. Heck, even George Jetson was born a little over last year, July 31st exact. Then we have a place in downtown Kathleen, GA where I used to live that would become the star attraction of many across the state: The Godfather. Once but a good place, but nary a great one, with the rise of the Uproaring Twenties, its popularity exploded like the bomb of Oppenheimer's genius; I mean really BEG, if you know what I mean. Even with just decent quality still, folk flocked over to the place to get their hamburger hoagies and their really truly French Fries in droves; sometimes the joint had to queue guests before even driving over to the place just to keep up! It was with exactly zero doubt madness, and I do not necessarily mean in a bad way. National and local television news stations like ABC and WMAZ started reporting on the joint. The headlines of the newspapers were splattered with titles along the lines of, "Godfather restaurant now hottest in Georgia!!". Word of mouth spread like the wildfires in California last decade. Flyers and billboards? You could explain that yourself; there was never even any need for introduction there. People were spinning signs like the fair rides at this year's Georgia National Fair advertising the big cheese. Presently, I reside in the Topel Estate in the heart of Newnan, GA. I was staying in my apartment in Macon for rent, but issues in my life have forced me to take a little vacation in order to unwind. Nevertheless, looking out my window right now, the last of the leaves from the trees have fallen to the ground, and soon enough, they will become one with the ground itself. It is fairly warm outside at the moment, about 20 degrees Celsius, and some rain has indeed fallen over the past couple of days. Meanwhile, I can imagine a thunderstorm brewing in the distance, just waiting to strike the ground at any given second of the day. If you still do not get it, the sky remains overcast; the perfect atmosphere to be monologuing about the future - and the perfect time to be writing this very document. However, with my trip to Hawkinsville coming up, I am certainly hoping for sunny skies once again, where color fills the landscape and bathes the land in splendor once more. It is with great pleasure that we all get to enjoy this wonderful time whilst we still can, as this decade will certainly not last forever. This would also apply to one of the Seven Wonders of the Uproaring Twenties World, The Hollywood Tower Hotel, a miracle of modern architecture, and a testament to the future of hospitality. But for now, all we can do is enjoy this wonderful new decade, and what the later years of this fine period will bring us all. There is no question on my mind that life will only be looking up from there, hence its namesake, the Uproaring Twenties. Glory to them.
