Hey, I got an interesting idea for you. One that I haven't seen anyone do. Would you be willing to do a "mixed camo" test? Basically you wear mixed types of camo like Multicam/Pencott/MC Tropic. A different camo for your jacket, pants, hat, and gear. With color pallets that roughly match the environment. There is some contention that wearing mixed camos actually helps break up your silhouette better than a solid pattern. But I've yet to see a comprehensive test done on it.

I'm surprised it's effective in winter as well, I thought this was strictly tropical camouflage. What's your gears used in the video? Top and trousers seems made by different companies. Anyway, great video, very informative because now I realize Pencott Greenzone is pretty effective in winter as well.

It's nice to see someone demonstrate camouflage properly. Most of these sorts of videos are just teenagers lying in the prone position behind concealment, which would work in jeans and a t-shirt. Thank you for showing the colour patterns within the environment that they were intended.

I had served in the US army in 1983-1986. I still have my M65 woodland cammo field jacket and still get worn knocking about town. Still has my name tape, US ARMY tape, my old DARCOM/AMC shoulder patch, and my 1LT bars on the epaulets. I had lost my liner for years and recently bought a replacement liner in a surplus store. Keeps me very warm as we ride through Winter Storm Heather bringing snow storms, blizzards, and temos down to the low teens and zero in the next few days.

Even at short range the M81 is still effective! Respect from Argentina

I pause these videos at various points to see how well the patterns blend. In most of the instances here, the only thing visible was his hat (bc of the shadows). I bet if he stuck a couple pieces of foliage in that Boonie hat he would disappear.

very dark camo, creates a clearly visible dark silhouette, don't know why some people think M81 is better than modern day camos.
