What's the thing taped between the neck and neck pickup? Nice tone, BTW, and of course the kind of consistency of tone that bespeaks of very good technique.

Lovely track. Now that I think of it, the bassline reminds me of the band Passport from the 70s.

My head hurts ._. Article was so long, and just spoke of her being blind and bullied Im not sure what that has to do with playing bass ._. Im a bit upset that this is what it takes to be a prodigy Ive been playing bass for 2 years now, im in music school playing 6 string bass, i originally learned by ear and i dont really look at the fretboard ever Shes using chord degrees to play this, we learned the theory required for this in semester 1 This is not prodigy work, I hage nothing against her, and shes a great bassist . When people find out my secret, they give me this "pity party" and try to make me feel important After years of this, it hurts so much to know Im only valuable when people find out what happened to me. I dont want people to only see me as a "prodigy" because im "damaged" its massively insulting We are wherever we are because we worked hard to get there, skill is the only thing we can measure, our hands work fine and our brains are functional. If you aint physically disfigured and you can think clearly, being deaf or blind wont matter much as a musician. (And often blind people have way better rhythm ._. They flow better becsuse they dont get caught up in a visual mess.) Lastly the blog im mentioning, Stop reading blogs. Especially you old men. Older men are the target demographic. Stop reading shit from people who write articles. And ps. The bullying thing is insulting. I have jagged bone across my face from real bullying. You ever been held down and pissed on? You ever been jumped and robbed? I once had a principle who got fired after it was revealed she made a fake report to try to get me expelled and arrested, simultaneasouly. Do you know the extent of bullying and harrassment? Because after all that, and worse, im ok. Im fully functional, a bit burdened with ptsd from darker events, But people in real life just know me as a goofy happy guy. Nobody knows i shouldnt be here alive today Whats your definition of bullying? What makes this woman so damaged we call her a prodigy? Im able to out play this girl and i dont have as much experience. Whats what you people all say. Its just insulting. Therr is always someone better, always someone more or less damaged, grow up fellas this aibt middleschool
