I bought mine back in 1988. Single tape deck now 37yrs old and still looks/play's like new. I've Added a Car Cassette Aux Adapter, 3.5 mm Auxillary Cable Tape Adapter so i can connect my phone to it for playing Spotify etc. First tape i played and still have was Paul Hardcastle's 19 lol oh the memories 👍👍👍

That's some wonderful toys. I love the Britain's and all those toys :) God Bless you. We boys shared this love of these wonderful toys across the pond:) Marx,Britain's,Corgi, etc. I loved all of them. As I'm sure many on here like you do. 😊 God Bless all from the 50s 60s 70s 80s even 90s when they made Real Toys :)

I think the tracked one with all the missing wheels is a French AMX-VCI. The American one is an M577 mobile command post. Its tall so officers can stand around a map table in the back? The last one is German, an sd kfz 223 or something?

The halfrds advanced will be the best tool as made by copper or apex or other tool manufacturer and lifetime warranty, but I'm keen to try the gearless as it has less backdrag

@williamdavidson1456 yea that's fair, was just wondering if it was made in the same place as the Zero Degree one, maybe even the same factory. I think I'll pop down to halfords and pick one up, can't go wrong for 16, the zero degree is 29 on amazon and seems to be very similar at double the price, cheers for the vid!

I've just brought this on black Friday deals, didn't know you couldn't open the draw without the lid opening. Is it possible to pull that mechanism out? Having to open the lid everytime for a draw is annoying. 🤔👍
@williamdavidson14563 ай бұрын
@@CrustyRestorations hi I think it probably will come out in never tried it but remember it’s a portable box to move about so taking that out drawers won’t be secure to stay in. I think it is just a safety bar so also you can lock your box and drawers secure. Try taking it out and see .

Nice, love the format, having started with MD in the year 2000, and still regularly play my collection of about 250 compilation discs. Sadly no new players are being made, but these things seem to last forever! I'd get rid of that leatherette pouch, though. They're infamous for flaking away, which can get into the players workings.

Had exactly the same model when I was a teenager too. Absolutely loved it. Then one day while listening to a Ben Elton tape on my headphones (so my folks couldn’t here the language) I laughed so hard that I pulled it off my chest of drawers and smashed the tape deck and one of the speakers. I was gutted. I’d love to hear it again just to see if it’s as impressive as I remember it being.

Everyone I’ve picked up anywhere I’ve ever worked has exploded or it was a snap on and hardly used, they’re for right spaces and kinda forgotten in favour of higher tooth count and tighter machining. They are goo though.

I use them in combo all the time to do clutches mainly the long handle to crack the box blots off and the stubby to wiz’s them out nice and fast. I bout a 100 tooth snap on stubby and instantly hated it 😂, I don’t remember how many teeth these things have but theyre solid. The older head design which remains with the Halford Flexi ratchets are way better then the new 120 tooth circlip style teardrop ratchets of which I’ve have 3 of the 1/4 inch and it blew up 2 times the 3rd I still have the lock out on the square drive has failed and they don’t have them for months apparently so it’s in some WD40 😂, and I swapped the snap on stubby for a 1/r inch locking flexi like 18cm I think.

am just wondering when you put the blade in that there is nothing stopping the end properly grabbing the blade. have you given it a good spray wd40 to keep working parts free and moving. theres a hole in the blade am not sure if its a pin or ball bearing goes through it to hold it. is the machine old maybe its worn. putting the blade in should click if not clicking that could be part of your problem
