Just watched the movie again after 30 years since its release, now watching this interview, it’s beautiful, poetic and majestic in its creation, and simply touching with the two lead actors insights. I just love how movies can entertain, educate and allow us to relate and enrich our own lives. Just an amazing feeling.

Great acting in this movie. Temuera seems so soft and well spoken, and he is also in another great NZ film that is far too under rated called "Mahana".
