Yes, I remember the Pizza Hut! It was right where you were standing! Now the ice cream parlor is also gone and it's a member lounge. :( I remember the Streets of Yesteryear being almost double in size but can't find any evidence that it ever was. It's surprisingly hard to find evidence (photos, maps) of what old exhibits used to look like!

I didn't get to celebrate National Carousel/Merry Go Round Day this year. I went to Ohio for a vacation from July 22-26, and I rode carousels at Cedar Point and the Sandusky Merry-Go-Round Museum. On July 25, I went to the Ohio island called Put-In-Bay, and they have a carousel, but I did not get to ride it because it was closed, and it was summer when I went! They didn't even have an explanation on why the carousel was closed during the on season!

I live about a mile from here and am a self described lighthouse nut. (BTW, the two rivers are the East Twin and West Twin rivers. The East Twin is directly behind the lighthouse. The two meet just before emptying into Lake Michigan. The lighthouse was built on the north pier in 1886 and is believed to be the only surviving wooden pierhead light on the great lakes. There are some other wooden ones around the lakes, but this is the only one left that survived being on a pier. Many were destroyed by fire or large waves. It stood 36 feet tall, had a sixth order Fresnel lens, shone a fixed red light, and had a fog bell. It was electrified and largely rebuilt in 1928 when it received a diaphone fog signal. It 1969 it was retired from service and removed from the pier. It is believed that the top portion spent some time on the coast guard grounds before being donated to the Rogers Street Fishing Village in 1972. The lower portion sat on the ground near the riverbank on 21st and Roger's Street until the early 90's when it was put into it's current position. It sits at the same height that it did when it was on the pier. The Fresnel lens was unfortunately broken during one of the moves, but it was painstakingly repaired and is now on display inside the museum. The museum is open from Memorial Day until about mid October every year and people are welcome to climb the lighthouse when the museum is open. The museum is also home to some artifacts from some local shipwreck, including the Rouse Simmons, the famous "Christmas Tree Ship." The other lighthouse you are referring to in the video is likely either Rawley Point or the Manitowoc Breakwater Lighthouse. Both are about 10 minutes from there.

They got the props for Jesters and Orbit yet they seem to have misplaced their headstones. Also a couple weeks ago the cemetery had stuff knocked over from the heavy winds we have been getting. 😂

So the reason they can't use real chainsaws in the house is for safety reasons because of the fumes. They're okay outside because there's more air, but indoors you run the risk of the actors or guests getting sick. I was definitely disappointed about the lack of real chainsaws but I think the house was executed pretty well regardless (I also have not seen Texas Chainsaw 2022, which the house was based on)

Yeah it happens. I once rode American Eagle and I put my season bottle in the bins and both bins are open and never closed it so I rode Eagle and came back and drink bottle gone
