Did you do the thing where you go through like these caves made of rocks and everything is like ancient Africa or something and there are these like fake animals that look super realistic? I went here on a field trip at school in 2019 and that was my favorite thing but idk what it was called. I remember some areas were really dark and the lights were like yellow and orange and it was super relaxing

@therealmofdarknesshaunt128 Thanks for commenting! Everything was terrific, and even picking the "maggots" out of my shoes and pockets brought back fun memories! I missed the directions for the suffocation room, so that was a little difficult and my girlfriend started to panic until I saved her. Spoons was excellent while entertaining guests in the queues, and the holding chambers added to the anticipation of entering the haunt. The ghost in the first room and hallway was a great tour guide, until he left us to fend for ourselves! L. Michelle and I were mocked for wearing masks in the decontamination scene, and that was hilariously ironic! The shower guy rocked! Instead of being the last one in, my girlfriend ran to my shower in fear! The exercise room was funny, and the school room and teacher were excellent! I've recommended this haunt to several people and I wish you all the best this and every Halloween season!

I miss keylime Cove even though greet wolf is technically better with the new slides but the tropical theme was just so magical and also there was only 1 Keylime cove, there are multiple great wolf lodges, also I went here as a kid on New Years of 2011 and it was the best day if my life, like it literally changed my life

I was just there last weekend. Navy Pier has changed so much. I’ve lived in Chicago all my life but didn’t realize that there was a lot of changes. I’ve been on that wheel before but once you go on it, it’s not worth paying to get on again. Glad you guys enjoyed your time there. Check out the riverwalk when you come back. That has changed as well.

@laquint23 I've been going now and then simce the 90s, and it definitely has changed! The new Flyover Chicago ride is unbelievable! I'm not sure when we'll be back that way. Medical appointments brought us to Northwestern, so we'd walk there for a bit afterward since it's so close. I'm not sure if there will be any more appointments soon. ($14 validated parking beats whatever other places charge to park, and the walk is short and beautiful!) We'll have to check out the riverwalk sometime! The boat tours look fun as well! As for the Centennial Wheel, it's a terrific view! My girlfriend treated me since I paid for Flyover. I find it funny that Bay Beach Amusement Park in Green Bay has a 100-ft Big Wheel for $1 a ride. It's not enclosed, nor is the view one of a huge city, but it's the best buck spent to see the bay and a fun, historic park!

This is the new electric train that went into service earlier this year. It looks and sounds great, minus the fact that unlike the gas trains, the electric trains made by this company do not use real whistles.

I’m hearing that Demon is done for the season now, but thankfully it’s to prep for Rakshasa. But sadly your channel logo let’s just say will be a memory as those iconic letters are being take down. Hopefully they come back or Demon gets a new logo. 😕

Ive actually seen pics of the original sign from the 80’s that had the giant sewer with the glowing Demon eyes that is much larger then what appears every Fright Fest. It also had a blood waterfall oozing into a small pool in front of it. Of 0:34 course several church groups wanted this ride “clean” of satanism. These letters so believe we’re the only thing salvaged from the orginal sign

Think of all the things I didn't get on video, and all the years I didn't have a video camera! I have old family footage somewhere from Florida parks in the 90s. I need to find those!

@@JiggidyNDG Too bad it hardly operated for its debut this year. You probably have heard it’s having a structural issue with the trains dealing with too much force from the speed and shakiness from the OG Dragster track which pretty much confirmed it is done for 2024 until Zamperla can fix the issue. :( Sad how this was not a good start to try to make a coaster that was already unreliable more reliable and it operated for less then a week. But I am not going to hate on Zamperla as they never have done something like this before.

@@JiggidyNDG Yeah, it really hasn’t been for the company and it’s a shame. people were already skeptical about Cedar Point going with Zamperla over Intamin as Zamperla specializes in flat rides and they have not made too many amazing big thrill coasters and this was their chance to make a home run with Top Thrill 2. And while the ride is said to be amazing by those who rode it, this mechanical issue putting it down for the whole year has left a bad taste in many’s mouth.

@@JiggidyNDG Religious groups were actually one of the main reasons why Demons theming elements had to be settled down in the 90’s. Well I know a person who is alive and has ridden Turn of the Century. My mother actually rode Turn of the Century A TO. when she was a little girl as she went to Great America during its opening years a lot with her best friend. She had no problem with the possession, she just doesn’t like riding it nowadays as it’s gotten too rough for her. 😅

Are they males? How come they don't have manes? Yes, they're males, one of the genetic traits for lions in the Tsavo region is that the males have little to no manes. I don't know if that is still true today, but it was up to at least 50 years ago.
