FYI...77% of singapore resident stay in Public Housing (HDB) which Singaporean can pay/fully owned using their own CPF (Central Provident Fund/(pension fund)) with government grant up to $40K... Some of the less well off Rent their home from HDB... The rest stay at private housing (condo) and landed properties etc... So housing in Singapore (from S$140k onwards) is still affordable based on our individual need/job/status and with a "stable income".. Unfortunately, there is still some homeless people (by choice) or (economic circumstances) here. Many of the very poor/elderly/sick are usually taken to the welfare homes..
