The EQS is a very good driving “CAR” but is NOT a prestige Mercedes-Benz “S” class car while one pay the prestige “S” class price. If Mercedes Benz simply stick the electrical system into their gas “S” class, the customers looking for a “S” class car will buy it. The worst feature is the hatch back design which only belong to cheap utility entry level car.

I am into the 6th year of owning my Chevrolet Bolt EV. My local dealership, my old garage people, and my neighboring gas station owner all hate me. I pay a monthly extra of about $40 for charging my Bolt at home, and that's about it.

Some good points made but the title is again a bit clickbaity. In quotes “Our new EV charges in 7 mins and 600 mile range will destroy the industry”. The video then constantly refers to the BYD Seagull which, good as it is, does in no way lives up to the quote. We know the Chinese have very fast charging and range/battery tech is improving all the time but huge quoted ranges, if not for EREVs, on Chinese EVs are quoted in km on CLTC, which is even more optimistic than WLTP. So if those figures are converted into miles on EPA, the most realistic formula and cold weather range reduction is also factored in for small cheap EVs, we’re probably currently at more like 25% of the 600 mile range (i.e. 150 miles). Having said that a lot of these predictions I’m pretty sure will come true by 2030 or 2035 at the latest.

The internal combustion engine is old-fashioned and inefficient. It hasn't changed in a hundred years. By comparison, the electric motor is efficient, quiet, and clean. No oil. No coolant. No transmission fluid. There is no need or regular maintenance. It's cheaper to run.

You haven't done any research at all? A hydrogen car is a small battery electric car with a very expensive fuel stack which alone costs £25,000. To replace. The cost of hydrogen is about £12 a kg/litre. There are only 4 working fuel stations left. The tank at the station is only big enough to fill 50 cars! I go on but please stop living in fantasy, the Bev's are so good now and are getting better every few months!
@Pankratnazar-m1n2 күн бұрын
@@jcfallows Personally, I have stopped dissuading EV haters a long time ago, having realized one thing: the fewer EVs are out there, the less likely power companies are to jack up electricity prices. So I just let gas car lovers say their lines - and keep charging my beloved EV for peanuts. ;)

The range is not enough by Indian consumers, if it's in a 80kw battery pack then it's a game changing innovation. Xev9e is far more superior in specifications, features and size, even though byd companies battery has installed in it with lifetime warranty on motor and battery. People in India are expecting long range batteries like 150 kw battery like wise charging capability under 7 minutes but on a economy price.
