I know the 2nd solo gets all the props. But the story telling in the 1st one is crazy good. Like little bits if lightning in between freeways of vibratos 😊

I was the youngest of five back then and I found this album in my sister's album collection and would rock out to this at 8 years old. I still listen to this today. It is timeless, just like Janis Joplin. So sad Paul Kossoff died so young, but thank God Paul Rodgers is still rocking on!!! HOT BAND!

There was an amazing live video of this on KZbin, but it seems to have disappeared.

One of the VERY few voices that could be compared to Karen Carpenter or Mary Travers.

She was so unique and gifted. She stands the test of time. Would have been wonderful to see where she would have been over the years. An artist who would change and evolved. That's the feeling I get listening to her. Wish more people in the US knew about her.
One of the best band I Really like this band in my childhood Alvin lee was the Greatest guitarist and vocal

It’s amazing, but it doesn’t make sense. Swans don’t nest in oak trees, certainly not in there branches. And they are not song birds so I don’t get it. Unless that’s the point. That truth is subjective and maybe the wise are not necessarily as wise as they appear to be. That’s the only meaning I can deduce from this. Unless it just sounds parity but is meaningless? 😂 I don’t know. Can any one help me out here?

I will be brave and say: After the nightclub acoustics, recording and production of same. The wax, vinyl, tape, magnetic fluff, and however else brought into the future. Now it gets digitized, analogized, and CD, DVD, chipped & dipped, and sent to live in the clouds, I still hear the unmistakable, beautiful, amazing voice of Sandy Denny. Her sound is permanent!

My favourite gutiarist and band. I love his playing on that live version of 'Moonshine' at the end of this video. Nearly 45 years after first hearing 'Come Together in the Morning', I still haven't heard a more haunting or moving guitar solo anywhere.
