My parents would rent a cottage every summer in Chippewa bay when I was a kid. The fishing was a lot of fun and the scenery was beautiful. If my memory serves me correct Chippewa bay is quite shallow, loaded with rocky shoals. One should study the maps of the bay and talk to the locals before venturing out in your boat or your prop may pay the price.

Hi Noah, I enjoyed your video. My wife & I are going to Duck Cove and fish the St Lawrence this August for the first time. Is there anything you can point out for us? We want to catch Bass. Thank you, Ed Engle on FB

If you are going on august the smallmouth are usually deeper where the water is colder. If you can find shoals and islands that offer shelter from the current they like to school up there. Look for areas that transition from very deep water to shallower water
