That hard crunchy snow with ice spots is probably the worse case scenario for the Wrangler as the snow not only causes traction issues for the rear tires but the hard divots create barriers for the front tires making traction even more of a challenge. I still can't think of anything else that would do better. If there was just a little more clearance on those rear fenders you could probably install some tire chains as those tires are the same size as many small riding mowers and chains that size are readily available.

I had to chuckle because I removed my mirror within 5-mins of taking delivery. I've taken my Wrangler 2 through 3-inches of snow so far this winter here in PA. I use mine every single day to go down my long inclined driveway to get the mail, take down the trash tote, etc.. The temps have been in the teens and 20's the past two weeks. I go about a week and a half before the battery gauge starts to drop. I don't let the level drop as far in winter as I do in warm weather and put it on charge as soon as it drops a bit. I didn't care for the huge "Capt. Kirk" seat so I swapped it for a smaller seat from a Pride Victory scooter. It's a much better fit and still swivels and slides front/back. I have the front basket installed and I made my own rear basket out of a 13x19-inch milk crate. I carry all kinds of tools and such for doing chores and yard clean-up. I also made my own clamps to carry a pick-up stick and my cane on the sides of the rear basket. The Wrangler 2 is everything I've been looking for in an all-terrain scooter.

I found your video very interesting. However, I would like to hear more information such as maximum speed and average range and weight capacity of the Baja Wrangler 2. I am disabled and use a power wheelchair but I am able to use a mobility scooter as well. You failed to inform the viewers about the price of the Baja Wrangler as well. I can't afford much and would like to hear if you have any financing options. And, by the way, you really should wear gloves in your next video to keep your hands warm. When I use my wheelchair ♿️ in cold 🥶 weather I must wear gloves.

How fast does it go again? Still can't believe it pulled that boat too.

One of the things that everyone leaves out is an incline meter. 5%, 10%, 15% ? The fisheye lens makes it impossible to judge the grades. That's the only thing holding me back from ordering one. I need to know if I go down the hill, I can get back up.
@eosjoe56517 минут бұрын
I don't know about percentages but I have a hill in my yard that has to be 30-degrees or so. If the grass is dry the Wrangler will go right up it if the battery is fully charged. If the grass is wet then the wheels will spin. The hill is steep enough that I have trouble walking up it.

Wow that's amazing how it runs especially being just a two wheel drive unit. Would be perfect if it was four wheel drive. I still love it, so wish I had one.

How do these batteries hold up in 5° weather?
@jon-paullitterer990530 минут бұрын
I agree are you-all running the lithium batteries also? My wheelchair doesn't do to well with the gel batteries in weather below 20degrees.

@@jon-paullitterer9905 So far here in PA the coldest temps have been in the teens at night and 20's during the day. I use my Wrangler every day and my 75Ah wet-cell batteries have been doing fine. Here's the problem with Li-ion. It's not a problem using them in the cold but they can be damaged if you CHARGE them in the cold. That makes them unsuitable for use in cold climates unless you have one of the scooters that you can easily detach the battery and bring it indoors to charge.

Highly recommend Mobility direct. Got my wifes Bandit from them and they are fantastic people to deal with. Zero pressure, just there to help you make the best choice for your situation. After I started looking at their scooters I THOUGHT I knew what one I wanted for my wife but after talking to them they gave me a much better scooter to look into. She said go look at it watch videos and let me know. Well Mobility direct was 100% correct and my wife has an amazing scooter. She is so happy to have her Mobility and independence back again to be able to enjoy herself. I cannot thank MD enough. If it comes my turn for one someday it will be the wrangler 2. But I have to say I wish and hope it can get to 15 MPH.😂😂 thanks again as you guys have a life long fan in us for what you did to help my wife get herself back out enjoying things again.❤

Lovely piece, looks comfy. Does it come with a bag/pouch to package it for air travels?
@eosjoe56511 минут бұрын
The Wrangler 2 weighs 370 lbs and does not come apart. I doubt you'd find it suitable for air travel.

Is there anything under $2000 that is light weight and foldable, but safe enough for my husband? My husband is 5'6 and 180 pounds.

Thanks for another informative and objective assessment of these scooters. I wanted to emphasize how important your test of the scooters going up an incline is. My wife and I both have Pride iGo three wheel scooters and have traveled quite extensively with them. When we are on cruises ours handle the inclined gangways very well. Apparently many others do not because crew members always insist walking behind you and often say it is to push if needed. We never have needed a push. During a recent trip to Europe we found similar inclines in several airports. And there is nobody to push you there. While in Krakow, Poland we both went all the way up the long steep entrance to the castle and then back down. That was a real test and they performed flawlessly. Another key feature for travelers is how well the scooters handle going down inclines. At first I was concerned that they may go too fast and get out of control. My wife was terrified at first. But we immediately noticed that our scooters have an electric braking system that very effectively control your speed going downhill. Finally even though we love our iGo’s I was quite interested in the Go Go Super Portable because of its reduced weight and four wheels. But one huge advantage of our iGo’s is their compact size when folded. They stand upright in the folded position in the back of my SUV. The Go Go would be too tall and I’d either have to store it flat on its wheels or maybe even one on top of the other for them to take up the same amount of space when transporting. Question. Could you transport the Go Go’s on their sides side by side? Having to transport them flat side by side would make you have to load luggage, etc. on top of them. Thanks for your videos. I’m a subscriber and relied heavily on your evaluation of the iGo’s prior to purchase.

Exactly on the ramp thing. I bet the Pride scooter can do more of an incline on a solid ramp, which is very useful info. Not every building has gentle ramps without a lot of incline or a lift for scooters. Very good to know a consumer can push one scooter a bit and not have it burn out.
