Recovery does not end. Therapy, hospital stays, and medicine may end, but recovery continues through life. I am inspired by peer specialists and I am interested in starting a path as a peer myself.

Thanks for this video! I'm a certified peer support specialist living in NYC and have been one since 2015. The pay has gone up but it's because they've now made the position more like care coordination work. We're given more value but they aren't letting peers be peers. I've recently quit my job after almost 9 years in the field for that reason.

You are so on it, Cooper!❤ So much of the struggle is also in navigating a disorganized system, which makes it twice as hard to connect family and friends to help. Once they are finally ready the access and entry barriers can be to difficult. Working on this effort here locally. Glad to be in this with you! You are a bright light for us!

Do you have anything about gun right restoration? If the felony is over seventeen years old and it's non violent, you were never put in jail, your citizenship has been restored, you have a passport, votings rights and pay taxes. Why can't I have the right to bear arms? I have been robbed twice and would like to be able to defend myself especially with the way of the world now.
