When a bunch of entitled, blond haired Malibu surfers formed a band called the Surf Punks, surf had already “jumped the shark.” But, how is it that the Ju Ju Hounds didn’t get more mileage out of their looks, one of the most stylish bands at the time - Flock of Seagulls Hair, David Bowie look-alike, Lena Lovitch vocals, Cure hairdos. These guys were tailor made for the soon to come MTV visual wave!
