I dont meant to be overly 'woke' but how was this ok even 11 years ago? I recently saw this, I had to watch this movie in like 4 parts over 4 days it was so hard to get through. I get it, they are playing him up to be the ultimate ladies man, all he sings about is sex , and his name... but wtf? this would never fly these days. This almost puts Blazing Saddles into classic and wholesome territory lol

it's just a story, a heroes journey told through a Mockery of a Road Trip /Buddy comedy,.. the kid is a Devout Christian-esque Type of guy with a set of Morals, who's life get's upended Then he learns about the world as it is,.. with his Veil off ,.. Blazing saddles is a Classic, regardless of this Films existence or not,.. btw,.. but he was the Purity Ring type,.. who had a Hot gf, who wanted to experience things with him,.. She did what she had to do for him,.. he rejects her based off of unrealistic ideals and Principles,.. a person who sold their body, so that he wouldn't be taken off of life support,.. i feel like the underlying theme is, .. Get Real, Grow up,.. as Evident of Horsedick, Who is pretty much the coolest guy in high school...Their peak opinion of Masculinity in this Universe... which doesn't mean anything in the real world,.. it's all Fake,... Same with his friends immaturity that he has to overcome,.. their show, the whitest kids you know,.. and this film wasn't a huge success, per se,.. their brand of comedy was unique,.. one of them is a good director now and one committed suicide,.. very recently, it's a shame, because this.. is a Classic movie.
