I was looking to buy a P bass and since this was going to be my 3rd bass, I took my time to look for one that I liked. Every time I tried the American pro 2s, I kept finding issues. The Mexican ones never seemed to have those issues. Last week I picked up a player ll P bass and have been happy.

I have this exact model bass. 2 weeks before I bought an Am Pro 2 P in Dark Night with the rosewood fretboard. Honestly i have other cheaper basses i like better

Hey man, i have been following your channel for over a decade now and just realized that you may have been "the guy from the video" that made me start getting into bass after thinking about it for a while. have you ever had some tutorial stuff on bass up? i am looking for that video so much. was a guy drinking pabst blue ribbon and said something like "you must hold your bass like gozilla spraying fire" or something like that. is that you maybe? :D regards!

Not the first video I have seen with issues on that bass or other USA Fender guitars. I have decided to build one from a kit with 1 piece mahogany body, a roasted maple neck with stainless frets on rosewood no inlays and luminlay side markers. I will just do a natural oil rub finish on it and a wood or leather covered pickguard.

(If you don't mind sharing lol) I have a 2001 American Fender Hot Rod PJ-BASS... Which is unbelievable.. I've been curious about these Pro 2 Basses.. I'm pretty sure I'll eventually get one as well.. 🤘

I use fender stainless steel light gauge flats. They changed my life. They have to be light gauge though. That’s very important.

Just looked up your channel, after I remembered about it. Massive wave of nostalgia. Wanted to see if I can still find your videos up. I used to watch it and your previous one in my teens. Now I'm well into adulthood. Amazing to see you uploaded less than a year ago. Your videos were one of my inspirations to start playing bass. You were into a lot of the same music I was, yet you introduced me to a lot of cool bands I hadn't hear of yet, like violent femmes. Just glad to know you're still jamming out, dude. Keep being awesome!
