Help! Me and my friend are arguing about why the taxi driver waited for Peter to get all the way inside.. I say it is because the taxi driver knew Peter definitely doesn't live there the whole time and made fun of him by pushing him to go. He says it is a joke about how the neighbourhood is so bad that the driver genuinely cares and needs to watch Peter get inside safe.
