We ordered new wood pins that took forever to arrive, thanks to the Rona, and once we started using them they immediately started de-laminating, leaving flakes all through the machines! These pins might be the answer to that problem. I'm happy to see that the GSX system has gotten rid of that terrible ball wheel that scarred up my new ball!

They don’t sound like pins just like synthetic lanes don’t sound like real wood lanes. I can understand the need for synthetic materials though. There’s only so much wood. For decades now, railroads have been slowly replacing oak crossties with concrete ones. The cost is murderous but they’re projected to last for a century. I wonder if these synthetic pins will be recyclable?

@@sadangel_90 Your center is just neglecting those GS-X Pinsetters. I bowled in 4 Centers, 2 with AMF 82-70’s and 2 with Brunswick GS-X’s, all of them are running perfectly and its a hundred times better than my local center with poorly maintained AMF 82-90XL’s

Our bowling alley got brand new wood pins and they immediately started to de-laminate and left coating chunks and shavings in the machines. Many pins broke! Huge investment in those and they turned out to be crap! Hopefully these new pins are far better!
