I was working main stage so I heard it from main stage. FYI Sammy asked if he could play in the saloon. That was 100 percent his idea.

This birth should have been aborted. They must be high as the space station! Sounds awful and ragtag. Put the pipes, spoons and needles down and try again.

Ok, the one and only thing i will comment on is the drummers lack of fiyah on this hit. Shit man, I listen to this jamm everyday on my way home from work. I damn near got Freddy's beats for memory! Ya...gotta...play...it....funky!

I saw Jack's new band three years ago at a small local bar. He is a cool down to earth guy. He took a photo with me at the meet and greet before the show that night. His new band l8ne up rocks and he still sings just like he did. I believe he has recovered 100% from his old habits. Long Live Rock and roll.🤘

What a killer show! Geoff and the band sounded great. The only thing I absolutely hated was the cheap sound of that stupid ROLAND drum kit!!! Especially the snare?! Use a real set of drums please! Maybe one with chains?! Lol But, seriously.
@billhen232 жыл бұрын
I’ve noticed this since he’s gone solo. I think it’s intentional. My belief is that he wants the sound to be focused on him and his voice. Not saying this is a bad thing, but the instruments are also always turned down too. You can barely make out the bass line on most of his songs - not just this show.
@paisleyprincess79962 жыл бұрын
@@billhen23 You would think he’d want to focus more on the instruments, as his voice, even if it’s improved…Isn’t always hitting the notes for the songs. The drum kit sounds muted, and beat’s important to a song. The crowd looks kinda small. But it was cold as hell that night, the mandates, and that area in MPLS isn’t the safest

Given he’s what, 60? And a baritone, he’s been doing great on the road.

Great show main stage was rained out (4 inches in 2 hours) and he just shows up with Michael Anthony on the smaller stage in the bar and just fucking rocks the place to a packed house
