Any ideas on what I should swap the front end of my 2014 out for? Wanting to launch/race in 4x4 and it’s in the shop right now with a blown front diff. There are no truetracs for the front end of these 4th gens. FBO next is a cam and pro charger but can’t do anything till the truck rolls again

If you are going to do 4x4 launches, what front axles are you using? I stopped doing 4x4 launches because the boots kept ripping everytime and got tired of replacing them

I hope you have a limited slip up front, and glad to hear your upgrading the front axles. My worry would be transfer case holding the power. Glad to hear your going to get Kong back to racing but it probably won't be this year. Good luck Brother hope all goes well

I just subscribed. I'm running a procharged f250 7.3 4wd gas. I am not successful in lowering 60ft times. I'm at 2.2 60ft with a 13.9 to 14.0 (1/4 mile)on my 7500 lb full weight truck. I have double adjustable shocks front and rear and traction bars. And just swapped my offroad tires for l some grabbier tires that can still tow my big boat. The 3 did nothing for my 4wd launch. Maybe we can trade notes.

@@IncredibleHemi1111 1st let me say , 4wd will help with the traction woes, just a plain undeniably fact . I'm not a fan for a few reasons, main reason is weight, 2nd parasitic loss.....that being said, since you're fighting the Long wheel base of the QC , 2wd traction is hard to come by , just can't get enough weight transfer back to the rear wheels, only real cure is placing weight over the rear axle which is the opposite of Race vehicle 101,( lite makes speed easy) ....but at that point it becomes a "race Truck" and not a drivers toy to enjoy.

@19five7 I just feel time for a change, jay is a great n never steered me wrong but nothing worked out the way It is should've on this build n it's not Jay's fault just didn't work. Plus i wanna run e85 n get dynoed so I'm not doing dangerous hits on the street for logs.

2016 ram 1500. Has gne out 4x. Not ever replacing this again. It just keeps going out. Why is this not a recall with a fixed sensor. They obviously don't know how to fix the problem.

I have a 2017 Ram 1500 hemi. It has a Volant closed box cold air intake with an AFE throttle body spacer and a Magnaflow exhaust with 18" muffler and resonator delete. The truck performs amazing, and the next thing I'm getting is a Superchip flashpaq tuner.

lol do NOT listen to this advice lol. Unless you don’t like your truck. I do agree with trading the stock fan with an electric V6 fan. Removing air filter is an absolutely horrible idea, even if you’re at the dragstrip lol.

Question, im in the process of swapping out the mopar lsd, i got the true trac diff. Im a bit confused as on moes the 9.25ZF is 2011-2019 vs non zf is 2002-2010. My truck is a 2015. Ring and pinion claim to be interchangable for both non ZF and 9.25zf. Could u clarify ?

If WD-40 an adjustable pipe wrench & a 1/2" LONG Johnson bar are the special tools you referring to? It'll take 20 minutes at the most! The biggest issue was when all of the meatheads we're Getting confused as to which way the fan clutch turns which would be dependent on which generation of RAM truck the fan clutch is being removed from? My truck is the fourth generatio😊 on the driver side of my quarter fender I used my half inch Johnson bar to hold the tensioner in place while I rotated, the clutch fan bolt counterclockwise in order to remove the 15 pound clutch fan. I to didn't see it necessary to install the V6 electric fan being that the natural convection process of hot liquid, naturally moving to the top of the engine with the cooler water doing the opposite. I also installed the 180 thermostat at the same time. up to this point I've had no issues whatsoever due to my AC electric fan, moving enough cool air pass the radiator.

I have 2012 ram 1500 hemi 2wd single cab 65RFE. I have 6.4 intake manifold ported out, ported out throttle body, mmx cam, shortly headers, tune and lower I ran 14.9 in 1/4 mile. Now looking at turbo kit try to hit 12s
