forgot to add.......contacted the MOTHERF**CKERS who claim to be YOTON "customer services".They were USELESS.They seemed to think i was trying to get a FREE mp3 for nothing, it didn't seem to register that i had found what appears to be a design fault... they had no concern for the problem their product suffers from. OTHERS have mentioned exact same problem."Customer Services" can barely speak English. A character called "EMMA" dealt with me and seemed to give less of a "fu*k than i thaught it was scientifically possible to do!!!!.You might think that with a username like MINE i might be sympathetic to substandard chinese crap?......you would be WONG!!.

I find the sound quality is fine but, for some reason unknown to me, there is a random defect in that the music LITERALY slows down together with a weird "popping" sound for maybe five or six seconds before returning to normal!. This can happen maybe twice over an hour. The manual mentions "freezing" and tells you to stick a paperclip into a small hole in the housing but i'm not sure if my problem IS this mysterious "freezing". Surely if the manufacturer is already aware that "freezing" might be a problem then it should have been sorted during the design stage?.

Have the same issue with occasional random speed variations, though so far it has never frozen. I originally gave it 5 stars [from a different seller] but would now give it 4. I still think the sound quality, for the price, is exceptionally good. Incidentally, I have an older Victure version of this player [essentially the same thing but with earlier software] and this never had an issue with speed, but now suddenly randomizes the track order in some folders but not others. In both cases, files appear to be stored by the date they are uploaded, rather than by name or track number, even though when the folders are opened on my iMac, everything appears to be in the correct place and in the correct order.... You pays your money.....

Does anyone find wired headphones don’t work well after a few weeks. Haven’t tried wireless ones so maybe that’s the answer

I've had no problems with wired headphones [mainly Sony MDREX650 in ears which have very lightweight cables*] and I use them for hours at a time on a daily basis. I've had 2 of the Yoton mp3 players and the equivalent Victure version over the years. Similarly, the volume output has never been an issue - always stable, with no drop-outs. [* Heavy headphone cables and jack plugs may put too much strain on the socket, especially if any leverage is applied, but the Yoton is not designed or intended for any heavy-duty use, so that is hardly a fault of the socket]. On the other hand, I still haven't managed to sort out the randomised playback order of tracks in each folder on the SD card... Anyone got any ideas on that?

Thanks for uploading this video. I have just replaced the faulty switch on my CR-6 SE Kickstarter edition. All working good, with the added benefit of the neutral switching.

That was an awesome paint scheme, that was never offered in America, unfortunately. I know the younger generation would never agree, but to me, I like this styling of the Ninja 500 better than the new 400. It just depends on the paint scheme a lot. Some of the 500's over the years, had paint schemes that were "meh", but this one right here looks awesome, and. has stood the test of time, extremely well.

I just found the cheapest set on Ebay that had a smoked finish by searching for FZ6 Integrated! :-) There are loads available.

LOL. Of course! I only did this by accident the other day and did it again to record the awesome sound. I've done it maybe 5 times during the years I've owned the bike. 25k now and no issues.

They are on the "pods" on the side. The ones that cover the fuse box etc on the right. If you checkout my website link in the video description, you can see details of how I did it.

Haha yea I saw the dance vid too, bless her. I just got in from a 40 mile blast on my bike after I did the air box mod you show on your web site. Great guides you have done there man, many thanks for all of them. The air box mod was great and the sound is awesome and it was almost a free mod as I didn't have a Dremel tool so I bought one to do it :) I think now it's time for a Power Commander 3 and I'm finished with mods.

Lol. She also did an annoying dance in front of the camera so I blanked it! :D I've got rid of the decat now. It was too loud for my taste WITH the DB-killers. I can't believe some people have no DB-Killers AND the de-cat!!!

She walked behind your bike while you revved it to 11,000 after you fitted a decat pipe. Gotta expect it to be loud lol. Nice sound, but I think it put me off fitting a decat to mine as it's actually TOO loud.

awesome! i did the airbox mod as well and boy oh boy did it change the sound, i love it ! currently waiting for the Scorpion exhaust to show up....i bought the old style which is better sounding in my opinion then the newer style and while at it i'll throw a test pipe where the cat is as well how's the exhaust smell after the cat delete?

@SANGERA2 Ok mate. I saw that gutting thread but seemed too much of a job. Found a few drilled exhaust videos on here but none of them show a before and after so it's hard to gauge the difference. Tired of drivers trying to kill me, also I'm not willing to part with £350!

@187Premises Nope. I drilled the stock exhaust on my last bike (GPZ500S) and was impressed, but I've kept the stock exhaust for when I sell the bike. If you checkout fz6-forum (dot com) you will be able to search and see a few vids and posts about modding the stock exhaust. Only this week a guy posted how he totally gutted the stock exhaust and fitted baffles & sound deadening material.
