Funny, how many people talk, and complain how dark Oled is, and don’t do well in bright conditions !!!, yet !!!, they all look very, very good, in a brightly lit, Costco, or Best Buy !!! And !!!, it seems all these videos aren’t shot in dark settings, and they seem to do well there also. I worry more about image retention, or burn in than brightness.

I recently purchased a Samsung S90C 55 inch (June 24), and I've received a second generation panel used in the S95C. In order to know if you have purchased a first or a second generation panel, you have to enter in the service menu, there is no other way to know, nor in the cage it is pointed. Nowadays, if you purchase an S90C there is no doubt that you are going to receive a second generation panel cuz the first generation is almost sold in the first units that have been sold when the S90C was presented. I'm absolutely happy with the S90C both for gaming and cinema.

Probably the S90C since it will make colors more vivid due to a qd-oled panel. But imo go with the C3 and leave it on vivid mode since color accuracy don't really matter a whole lot for anime.

@gio3300 Vivid mode is trash on any TV. Either use an oled monitor laptop, cell phone, and try to adjust the colors on the TV according to the exact images on both devices or get Quantum TV's settings. I did my own thing for my X90L via oled monitor, and it wasn't that hard. It was my first TV in 14yrs, and I have never done something like this before.

@asole100 vivid is a trash setting for about everything. I just like it better for anime/cartoons since I personally like colors popping out much more. Other than that, I leave my tvs on custom mode.

@asole100 I've calibrated my a80j for the purpose of purely anime watching several times from recommend calibration settings. Still didn't feel it popping out as much imo. So I just left it on vivid for just anime content.

The G3 will be better for all day TV but if you mainly want to watch movies in dark room the C3 only going lack behind in some HDR highlights but the whole experience will be very very nice

Budget Considerations ... I got the C3 in Sept. of 23. 1,600 USD. Wish I knew they had a "B" line; would've got the B 77" instead of the C3 65". Either one would've worked... in my dark man cave ! My advice, these are all pretty good ... Size Matters - get the BIG one !

Both great TV’s but I went with the 65” C3. An I’m definitely happy with my choice 💯 The G3 not having a stand is beyond absurd not to mention it’s $150 extra. A the stand is absolutely garbage an whoobles with your TV leaning back.
