This has been an 8 year old project to date - they had the option of fast with night works or slow with no night works - unless necessary and pre-warned....THEY picked slow. They are even denying that the dirt covering our building may not be their dirt and so they won't pay to wash it down!!

Gary last night at 1AM I went down to the site to complain about the noise. I had a sleepless night with the vibrating drilling. Are they permitted to do this. late in the night?

At 11:59:10PM a tram blows something electrical in a big, loud, and spark flying way. Other cams follow the rescue of the tram. When the tram before it goes over the same section at 11:58:03PM there is also a smaller, loud, and bight flash that doesn't disable that tram.

Fire - Reported to be a minor structure fire on the the Vic Emergency app. 5:45:50 - 01:15:36PM Smoke first appears. 5:50:02 - 1:19:47PM Lots of smoke drifts into frame. 5:54:52 - 1:24:36PM Another large lot of smoke drifts into frame. X:XX:XX - 01:26:02PM Firetrucks first heard on other cameras. 5:56:29 - 01:26:14PM First firetruck arrives from the east, gets caught behind tram. 5:58:46 - 01:28:30PM Second Firetruck arrives from the north. 6:01:34 - 01:31:19PM A firetruck seen heading north. Smoke still persists. 6:11:00 - 01:40:44PM Lots of smoke now. 6:24:30 - 01:54:16PM Smoke still persists. 6:42:00 - 02:12:03PM Smouldering smoke has finally disappeared.

Nice summary Gary. Your feed has been a lifesaver for me at the moment. Some nasty cockatoo (??) seems to have knocked Camera5 North Box out of focus. It is hard to supervise from afar with blurred vision ! Thanks again.

@@GaryBuck Thank you ... Cam 5 much better. I have to confess to having viewed in real time most of the activity that you've fitted into 31 seconds. It's been a fascinating insight into how it all works. The noise levels through the night must have been awful. I suspect I'll hear a verbal report from mutual friend.

Great video Gary! Do you know if they are recycling all the panels from the acoustic shed? Do you have any footage of those awful green poles being installed in the ground and are they permanent?! Vomit colour!!! Keep up the great work Gary keep the bastards honest!

An absolute disgrace! When we bought in St Kilda Rd, we did not sign up for ugly structures outside our door. Get the engineers to think of alternative airing now! This is totally unacceptable!!!
