bro I don't have a coach (used to , don't have one currently because I am focusing on my studies ) but I was like I should change the head place to make it harder to punch my head ,thanks for confirming (though I wouldn't go super low ,first I am 5'5 already short so I do not need to go that low ,second I do mma so I would also cover the head from behind in order to not get kicked or kneed in the head)

@billyAgnaska for this specific move of going to the body I keep the hand in front of the face to protect against straight shots because an opponent is more likely to throw a straight shot. Which I break down in this video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zp_GZHutp9WLrqM

I've used it to set things up in fights. The same way Floyd used it here to set up the KO against Diego Corales. U get people thing ur going to the body then u fake the jab and come up for the hook. kzbin.infomIt2x-sIFxo?si=_FzrD27RPeaUBRmj

@@CoachDre721 well if it isn't anything to worry about I'm not going for the faint to the body. I'll allow you to attempt to set something up with it thinking I'm going to bite on it while I swing my uppercut instead. I've seen the fight. No need to watch the video. I also remember Floyd did that like 4 times in a row. But it was keeping corales at bay too and he knew Floyd was scoring every time with it. So he had to try something else to counter that and that's when he got caught and dropped

Ha I'm saying I'm not knocking anyone out with a body jab, but it's scoring points and taking a lil air out. So when people see me go low they drop their hands a bit, and that's when I catch em. And I've used it and seen it used alllll the time so I really don't see what the argument is. But alright. To each their own.
