For me, this mission is buggy as hell. At some point, land trade routes just stopped working, and then everyone straight up just moved out of my massive city. I restarted but the same thing happened. The land trade stopped AFTER I connected my city to the kingdom road, which is weird. The traders say that my city isn't willing to trade, when it is. BTW, I dont know if there's been an update or something, but you can make tonnes of papyrus with just one reed gatherer, and you can feed your whole city with just 2 fishing wharfes.

someone help please: it seems to all work untill the end of me launching the .bat to start the server it looks good loads everything then a red text pops up and immediately closes and i cant read it fast enough

This mission is usually where you need to build higher level housing up to even luxury palaces because taxes are your main source of income.

I love to play this map to become a rogue governor and fight Caesar because of its narrow entry way and I stack my 6 legionaires in one location and choke Caesars troops, lol brings back memories, thanks for this upload

I'm still fence sitting in buying this game. One one hand the game is beautiful, and I love the global labor addition, as this means I don't have to have a small cluster of shacks everywhere, like in the original. That and it's Pharaoh. In the other hand however the removal of combat, and certian other issues I've seen in the game throughout ghazplays run such as population not being calculated correctly is making me hesitate.

I've tried so many ways to do Port Forwarding, and still no access to my server. Does anyone know if you need to PF "Outbound" as well? My server shows up on the MP list, but when I try to login, "Connection to server failed, could not retrieve server info" I've got inbound TCP 26900, and UDP 26900-26903 And an outboud TCP 26900.

Found the issue. "Steam Networking" was "on" in the server config. Delete that , and now it seems to work

I love the housing loop, but I am finding that sometimes the entertainment doesnt get to the whole loop, but if I remove a roadblock allowing the entertainers to walk frely that this solves the one half of the housing loop complaining about lack of entertainment.... Is this a bug?

I follow along, and I noticed at 29:46 that you had a ton of miners waiting outside the mines. I checked mine and I had the same problem. No wonder I was running out of money, the miners didnt have access to the palace 🙈 I'm now waiting to see how long until you spot it! 🙃

The ferrry landing is not transfering the limestone from the other side. Did this ever happen to you?

It can yeah. I try to buffer. Basically have a storage yard on same side as quarry. Then have another storage yard on other side set to get

I love the housing loops as well as the work areas. Always struggled with feeding people and having houses upgrade properly. You've definately changed the game for me!!! :)

First: Thank you for your great work! Second: I tried to make a mod with a fridge, where I can freeze Items from spoiling - also included poop, fertelizer and fertilized eggs (which needs somtimes different temperatures?) I found the just files named "Icebox". But when I do it like you, and try to play - I never found the blueprint in game ....

Bubastis is an interesting map since it have lots of land to expand the city and develop to maximum level. I managed to fit 6 Palatial Estates in this map and have over 7000 people in my play. The trick for easy desirability for those estate is using the Bast temple complex because it generate a large amount of desirability. I ended up using the complex as the central part of elite housing block and this is better than I expected. Culture rating for this city is not that hard to raise since I use left over space around the city for either religious or entertainment facility so in the end, I had over 100 culture. This is definitely one of my favorite map in this game. P.S, I also use global labor pool option since I am more familiar with it from my experience with Emperor game.

i understand everything ..except the road block..can someone tell what is the benifet of the road block

It helps you control where walkers go. Walkers decide randomly where to turn if they reach any crossroads. With the roadblocks, they can't go that way. In this case here the road blocks mean that all walkers which provide services for the houses can never leave the loop. Since the loop has the ideal length corresponding to the minimum walking distance of the walkers, every service will be provided for every house, because every walker will allways go the whole loop. Without those road blocks, the walkers would go outside the housing district and into the industrial area, where they are not needed, or maybe due to bad luck some houses would not reliably get a certain service, because the walker decided to take the other way. I would improve on this by making lanes going from the road where the outer temples are and putting my production along those lanes. The lanes lead up to the road withe temples, so that way I don't need a 2x2 house in the middle of production, which requires sanitation and police and never evolves.
