Such an amazing movie! Recently watched it again on bluray, still holds up so well these days! Glad to see the movie is getting its recognition as a gem of its time

Among many other reasons this show was such a standout, was the directors/producers/writers inspired use of the 4 children. Having them constantly excited and talking over each other added such a splendid energy and was a wonderful counterpoint to the 'Evil' theme!

Perhaps you know that not all people who came to the town are tied to the place. For example Tabitha, we knew jim has nothing to do with that place but because it happened that he’s with Tabitha and his children that were tied to the place so when the place took them Jim was brought too. The school bus. We now know that Elgin and Randall has like something of a connection to the place so those other people who were brought there are just nothing. But here the Lacosta, Lacoste, Acoste whatever her name is the annoying police woman. The fact that she has a lot of screen time and constantly annoys us. There is something of a plot twist coming in the future cuz it’s obvious she’s gonna play some important role in the future. I aint sure of this but I heard that Harold Perrineau has some contract that if the show will last longer than 5 years or something like that his character must be ended that means he will die. And some of the signs of it is in season 4 when he’s telling Kenny to take his place if ever somethings happen to him. What if this pretty annoying policewoman will replace him in the future? And Kenny is her deputy or Kenny will replace Boyd and she will be his deputy? Will you still wanna watch the show? I will still watch no matter what happens in the future as long as this chic changes her clothes next season. I love you Samantha 🥰. BTW why are you not changing clothes? Can I change it for you? 🥰

Sarah was the perfect antihero to Beth. She was composed, erudite, intentional. The subtle little moment when she answers her phone to a [mopey] whining Jamie and forgives him essentially and says "you're going to have to trust me." And you almost believe they do share a connection for that second. Too bad she is killed right then but oh well. Business is business. Bravo Dawn for an amazing job well done.

The people saying “Acosta is Abby” literally don’t know what they’re saying. Abby died 18 months ago. Idk if you noticed-but Acosta isn’t an infant wearing diapers. The word *REINCARNATION* means one incarnation dies, and they come back as a *SECOND* incarnation. Acosta was alive already when Abby died. If Acosta is a reincarnation of any character we know-it’s Eloise. I can promise you she’s not Abby.

I really like Samantha as the new character in the show. She was definitely thrown into a nightmare situation with no help from the townsfolk who were there. Most newbies are given lots of coaching and shelter their first night in town. Acosta got NO help and many in the FB group I'm in condemn her for accidentally shooting Nicky before she made it to Colony House. She tried to apologize to Boyd the next day, but Boyd was not doing well under the pressure he felt, also having his authority questioned by the townsfolk, so he basically chewed her out. Then, he went on to chew Kristi out too. And yes, Kenny has been the only person trying to have a decent conversation with her and give her some background into what it's like living in Fromville and that if she does not adapt to the town, she will lose her mind. The end of Season 3 shows that we will be in for quite a ride in Season 4. I'm glad she survives into the next season, even tho lots of ppl are wishing for her to be killed off. My guess was that Acosta would have been the daughter of Eloise, who did escape from Fromville.

Did you notice how choppy the editing was near the end? It’s because he actually starting talking about how Jim won’t be able to get into as much trouble and immediately pulled back. His PR team even interrupted and asked for him to start over.

Jim wouldn't be the first character the audience thought was dead but returned somehow. In a made up mystery world where writers neither have to stick to real life laws and rules and can bend their made up rules, everything is possible.
