Thanks. Sometimes, it pays to note really pay attention to the speedruns. Almost every trick I found in this series is original. How long did it take to discover all of these glitches? For all of them, no more than a couple hours combined. You know... this is my first play through on the ps2 right? Finding glitches is just a mind set and about asking the right questions. for the glitch the left side of the door frame is grounded but the right side is not, so I was just wondering if I could hang off the area and scooch my way through that area. I bet you could definitely find some sweet glitches in this game. It has so much untapped potential

​@@Gamingpriest. Still waiting for your live playthrough btw. I am wondering if you will use any exploits that are not glitches. For instance. When you enter Kakariko village and climb the tower if you stand in the upper left hand corner and just side hop left, you grab the fence below, this allows you to talk to guy on roof and grab a free heart piece. Another one there is if you bring a cucco up to the construction point , you can very easily fly to that little house with the cow and get the heart piece. There are so many thing like this all over the place in Ocarina of Time. Some things are a little bit more difficult like the glitchless basement skip, where you said you couldn't see a glitch there but it technically skipped a decent chunk of the basement. I know there are also things that you definitely won't be doing like in my play through, where I didn't collect a single boss key but there are also tricks that I am not sure if they are a glitch, an exploit or the way Nintendo intended. Fire temple comes to mind when you face off with volvogia. If you drop bombs on a certain hole while the dragon is under ground it damages the boss while you are essentially waiting. Here is another good trick that I am not able to tell whether it is intended or not. When you fight Morpha in the water temple, you can use the long shot on him while in a corner and if you go to the other side of him so that he is in the corner and slowly tap B to slash him, you will be granted a one cycle. Another one that I am wondering if its intended or not is the power crouch stab. The last sword attack you do will always be stored with a crouch stab. This means if you do a crouch stab without attacking at all it is about a quarter as strong as a jump slash but if you do a jump slash, it will always be stored, so when you do crouch stabs next, it will be a power crouch stab, which will always do jump slash damage. If this is the way Nintendo intended then you have nothing to worry about but if this is not, then that will prohibit you from using a crouch stab on enemies.

@@Gamingpriest. Make sure I know about it this time bro, I want to see your play, specially the way you think Nintendo intended. I would definitely need some kind of Nintendo guide to complete it the way they intended. Is back walking allowed? You normally have 4 speed but when you back walk, you have 8 speed. Which spell did Nintendo want you to get secondly? Btw its not clear that all of the programmers wanted you to play glitchless as well as a scrub. I think glitches were intentionally put into the game. An example would be, a hidden poster/ Easter egg, in Majoras mask that basically talks about bomb hovering to the moon. Another thing is they programmed the bomb hovers to be easier in Majoras mask. There are certainly things that are confusing for me. Take the swamp area for instance. When you approach the house with the heart piece on top, you can drop a bomb turn into Darmani III Goron, jump before it explodes and get put on the house. Which skips the quest of getting the land deed. Was this intended? This is not a glitch or anything. When I younger playing these games bro, without knowledge of glitches, I still bomb boosted in a lot of places. I just thought it was apart of the game. Take the Anju Kafei quest, for no reason at all, when you enter the area they he is in, you can turn into Mikau the guitar playing zora and just grab the ledge on the top of the map and jump right into the door, skipping the sequence. The programmer, puts a ledge there that you could grab. It seems that someone intended it. I don't know bro, I would definitely like to watch a session. I have no idea how you are going to play the way Nintendo intended

That is how it is in these style games. However, I tried messing with every purple tree in the level and that was the only one that yielded any glitches. This collision is nearly almost squeaky clean but the tree was the right distance from the wall, given the soft lock mechanic.

Let me know when. I would be down, I know about all the usual style glitches but the Stale reference manipulation. I can do exactly two tricks with srm. One is holding the heart piece from the jar in goron city and the other is a glitch I invented and dubbed infinite cuckoo glitch

actually 3 but I got thumbs down bombed on the third where I was holding an invisible rolling goron that behaved like the lense of truth. which was my own thing but people hated that one.

This trick is available in so many games. One of the cooler games to do this in is Mario 64 because it usually results in a soft lock. In some games, this trick is used for skipping cutscenes in speedruns.

Yeah, some of the stuff is not terribly useful but it is funny. you know me bro, if its cool or funny, I am definitely doing it. I watched a video of a person turning on cheats and floating out of bounds, thinking that was a glitch. People used to do that same thing in ocarina of time until the glitch scene happened. That is how little videos are out there on glitches.

Oh yeah, you got to post that, sounds rad. Speedrunners use this trick for sure. There is another way to do this btw. You can actually step into the cutscene and use dins fire and that cancels the thing. Its slower but still cool

@@Gamingpriest. For this trick, it usually requires you to go down there and solve the puzzle to get back up but with a leaf pump we can just grab the key and skip that. The leaf pump is a little tricky though but easily doable.

I didn't bother with this game for a while because everyone was saying it was the most terrible zelda game ever created. I decided to give it a try and immediately realized the game is very solid bro. I like it a thousand percent more than twilight princess. When I played twilight princess, I realized it was very linear. I also had to do my least favorite glitch to proceed. I am not a fan of arbitrary code execution. Don't get me wrong, twilight princess is a good game but Wind Waker is a phenomenal game. Open world exploration is on point. My first play through, I really had an adventure.

The button skip! Here is the thing. This is the first time I tried the trick and I got it first try. After the set up, when you press the button, you just need to hold forward and mash A. I'm glad that you were able to see the trick because its handy. It skips almost every part of the dungeon. There is something even cooler though. Its actually possible to get into Jabu Jabu as an adult using cool glitches. However, there is no way to beat the boss since you can't use boomerang. There is a caveat though. There is a glitch called 'Bottle adventure' which requires a specific number of items in your inventory. Then if you travel through time to young link and then back to the future as adult link, it puts the boomerang on B. This way you can beat the boss. I was going to do that instead but I didn't feel like rerouting 😂

@GMG4-World The trick is really easy. you just need to hold up. The collision is always wonky in n64 games when you have a cylinderical object, and to top that off, the collision on those kinds of bars is super weak. You can also do the same thing on the other set of bars that the chain chomp is guarding.

Exactly because if you don't take care of boswer the poles will never spawn in. Though its still possible to get the red coin star.

I don't think so. This has never happened to me before. Its not really a known problem. It happened after doing RBA mushroom quest and wrong warping from a grotto. It might have been over writing code through a series of glitches. The emulator works well enough to use it to speed run. Still, I don't know, you might be correct.
