Keep in mind and be aware that if the pins at the charging port are damaged you have to replace the charging port modul!⚠

friend I received one with this same problem, I changed the connector of the screen I also changed the cable that goes from the screen to the motherboard, I changed the fuse, without the screen it reaches 55v on pin 1 of the backlight, but when I connect the screen it lowers the consumption to 12.5v, do you have any idea what it could be?

I suggest getting a shematic, you ll find one for this model.There are also some diodes and transistors boosters near the lcd connector on the board they often die. Also check backlight ic for in and output. 12.5v i think is ok as far as i can remember.

Firstly, It is a great and useful video. Thank you! But i have a question. I also ripped the sensor when trying to reach vibration motor today. There was a friend with me who knows about this subject better than me and he said it is just a sensor, no big deal. We put the phone together and it worked just well. I searched and found out what sensor it was and its okay for me to use my phone without it. But i have some uncertainity. When i tested on apps i can see it is missing. But i can use adaptive brightness, phone senses when i take it to my ear and something. What does that sensor do and is there any possible dangers using my phone without fixing it?

Well as you said adaptive brightness, and also turning off the screen while phone calls if held to the ear. Thats it. Just a light sensor.

Just fixed my S21 exterior volume buttons by prying the pieces of the old one out, and pushing the new ones in! Not the switch membrane or switch, just half the plastic button popped off one day while I was walking around. Thanks for the video!

One thing I struggle with! I have solder the port and tested the feet and also the pins of the hdmi port and they are connected properly and one thing I can’t understand why after 3 days of testing it and playing games on the ps5 it will not display anything on the tv but if I put a new port in it works

Just push it inside, it hase tiny silicon feet that will hold the button in place.

Hi, I have a similar problem on the same model. The phone turns on, but no image is showing up. When I hold the power button red and green power off and reboot buttons appear. Could it be a software issue?

Do you have a boot logo? I know of display issues after completing boot into the OS, which is related to cold solder joints aka bad connection on the fpc connectors.

😳It Looks like Apple has decided to show also battery health from third party batteries in iOS18.1 but stated as an unverified part. Update, after another reboot in the evening the battery health shows now 74% again as it was with the original state (old oem batter) and the unknown part inside the health tab is gone!
